Have some seen ANYTHING about a 12 year old girl raped in samui the same day? Well she was by a guy in the hotel that she stayed. But according to him she was all for it all over the swedish magazines. But some one covered up in Saumi I guess....
U got a point about the possibility of scapegoats... Thailand isn't really famous for the value of its law enforcement. Read somewhere else they were two thai fishermen though. Not clear. Not that it'd change much either.
As of the 12 y o girl raped in Samui it seems the Nation or the Bangkok Post mentionned it.

AN angry mob of locals brandishing wooden clubs broke through security and attacked the two men accused of murdering British backpacker Katherine Horton.
The violence took place as police escorted the two Thai suspects back to the scene of the crime, on the island of Koh Samui.
Besieged by protesters, police were forced to cancel the planned re-enactment of the murder of student Miss Horton, 21, from Cardiff, whose battered body was found on the morning of January 2 by a jet-skier in the Gulf of Thailand.
Two Thai fisherman - Bualoi Posit, 23, and Wichai Somkhaoyai, 24 - confessed yesterday to killing Miss Horton.
And DNA tests indicated the suspects raped her, police said.
