After hearing about all the ills that have been brought upon Thailand by the former ruling party, I get the feeling that due to a typographical error the party was wrongly named "TRT" ( Thai Love Thai ).
It probably should have been named "TFT" - where the second word is replaced by a 4 letter unparliamentary English word that rhymes with RAK !!!
Many thais knew it correctly already 'Thaksin Rapes Thailand' party.

Y'all do not understand Mr Alan.
However after reading his posts here and some on the Pattaya Forum I think I have it figured out.
I mean why fly all the way to LOS just to sleep? In fact our OZ friends have studied holiday travelers and have found that they are usually more exhausted when they return to work than they were when they left. This parallels some older research in the US that indicated that those who wanted to 'rest' during their vacations just stayed home. The wanting to sleep is just a 'red herring'.
Bottom line, Mr. Alan is either afraid of girls or just does not like them.
On the topic at hand, the tourist industry in LOS is the envy of all the countries in Asia. Singapore, Malaysia, and HK are spending millions to boost their tourist industry whilst LOS is getting all of the 'buzz'. The P4P industry may not be PC, but it does bring a lot of tourists to LOS. These tourists tell great stories to their friends at home who then come to LOS for holiday (both P4P and non-P4P) and return to tell their friends, etc.
Like it or not, P4P is fueling one of the hottest tourist economies in the world...

I realize that math is not your strong point, but at least I thought you understood how clocks work.
At any rate, because of the time zone differences between US and LOS, I tend wake up about 7:00 AM (LOS time) and retire before midnight. This actually has certain advantages at MP's, where I can be the first customer of the day, and you can have sloppy seconds.

I have circumnavagated the globe at least 5 times this year on my various business trips and have never used the excuse of 'being tired'.
Do not act like you are the only one who have traveled from the US to Asia or vice versa.
Try flying the non-stop from BKK to JFK (arrive 0600), followed by a layover and trip to Detroit, followed by a hour drive to Ann Arbor, 18 holes of golf with a client, dinner/dancing with a ladyfriend, ending with some 'quality time toegether before falling asleep in each other's arms (0100).
That and being back at the client's site at 0600.
I am 50 and if I could pull that schedule anyone can.
I stand on my original analysis Mr. Alan...

When I am in BKK, I have never been in bed sleeping before 3-4 am in the morning. Hey, you are a tourist and you are going to be in BKK for just a short while, you are going to waste time sleeping? You go as long as you can for all the fun you can muster. There are so many things (and girls) to do and so little time. You have to check out all the new joints and re-visit all the old favorite ones. You have to answer all these calls from you old TG's and do the text messaging with the new TG's and schedule them appropriately so that every one of them gets their fair share of you. Isn't that why we all love BKK so much? We are so desirable here by all these gorgeous young ladies. We are re-living our youth all over again. We are being sought after rather being ignored. You do the sleeping part when you are back home watching reality TV and being bored to death in the suburbs at night. No clubbing, no gogos, no beer bars, no TG's, no MPs, nada, nothing, but yeah, peace and quiet and lots of SLEEPING!

I don't sleep any longer than anyone else, maybe 7 hours max. That leaves about 17 hours per day for everything else, which is enough for me. If I go to sleep at midnight, I am staying up 10 hours later than normal in the US, so I am usually fairly tired by then.
The last 2 times I was in LOS it was for a 4 weeks straight each time, so if I was there for only a week or less, then maybe I would do more partying and only sleep a few hours each night.

I didn't say I was tired. On average I sleep about 7 hours a night, which is probably about the same as most others. It is just that I sleep "a different 7 hours" than some others. As I said, I will be the first customer of the day, and you can have sloppy seconds (or worse).
