Like the global financial crisis the Thai situation is throwing up worse news by the hour. There was a time when the worst fear was that the A-bomb could fall into the wrong hands. Now an airport has fallen into the wrong hands, including its ATC tower! This is anarchy. I hope the highly image-conscious Thais realise what they are doing to their nation's image.

Well, it seems Thailand is heading straight into another major conflict. The PM is hardlining as well by not stepping down. Its just a matter of days/hours before there will be more bloodshed.
I used to be a PAD supporter as well, but this has gone way beyond the boundries and is now damaging Thailand in its most critical time

I'm supposed to fly to BKK from LA today. EVA rep CLAIMED I can actually get on the plane to Taipei and worry about getting to BKK later, but I am fearful I am going to fly into LA for no reason today bcuz LA will make me stay bcuz of my destination. I'm going to be pretty upset if I fly into LA for no reason bcus some EVA rep is wrong. If I get stuck in taipei, oh well, getting stuck in LA is avoidable

"France has issued a recommendation against travelling to Thailand until the airport reopens. "We recommend travellers to postpone all travel to Thailand until the reopening of Bangkok's international airport," Foreign Ministry spokesman Eric Chevallier told an online news briefing."
