Interesting. Is that why the USA kept receiving money from Germany as compensation for actions from WW1 as recent as in the late 1970s?
Many people would think that with WW2, most would forego keeping asking for unpaid money from WW1 and concentrate on what just came later: WW2. But no, never let an uncollected dime get away. Versailles or no Versailles you better keep asking for payment of your claims; even if it takes more than 60 years to get paid.
Interesting that on the one hand, you give millions away for reconstruction while on the other keep asking for reparations related to an older war. Weird.

The basis of Nazism is not just nationalism, it is the hatred of others and making others into scapegoats. Adolph Hitler thrived on hatred and blamed others for all the ills of the Germany.
This is not un-similar to a few on this forum whose hatred and lies about the US permeates this "pussy forum" and blame the US for everything that is wrong with the world.
I would never claim that the US (or any country) is perfect, but the rhetoric displayed here by a few fanatics is nothing short of sheer demagoguery. Adolph Hitler would be proud.
