Yesterday there was a horrendous train crash just outside Los Angeles involving 2 commuter trains and a freight train killing at least 5 persons and injuring more than 200.
I sincerely hope that you are not going to lable all Americans "half-arsed" because of this.

The muppet wanted to commit suicide but bottled it at the last moment and got out of the SUV so he survived. Why didnt he just drive off? Hope they throw the book at him.
Also the configiration of the train was criticised and had a part in the severity of the accident. Apparently the locomotive was pushing the train from the rear. If it had been pulling from the front it would have more than likely pushed the SUV off the tracks and not de-railed. Because it was at the rear, and is so heavy, it created a concertina effect on the middle carriages causing more damage. This is as per the state legislative chairman of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. So human error played a part in this as well.
