Trying to get a taxi after 11pm is a nightmare. The ladyboys seem to think they have first rights to any taxi that stops.....lolol, then they try to negotiate the driver down in price before getting in, and out of the way.

you might note that places shut down promptly at 11pm, with curfew at MIDNIGHT.
at 11pm when we hit the street, there were a number of BKK's finest ensuring that the street vendors were packing up, and that sidewalk traffic was moving along....
the trick for the taxis is to go a bit up soi 3 to get ahead of the crowd gathering on either side of suk just above there....
note to self:10:45 might be a good time to start moving out....

As for not being admired on this board; I take such non admiration as a compliment considering the caliber of some of the illustrious members of this board.
As an example; I have never visited & will never, ever, visit places like the Eden Club ( so beloved of the majority of members of this forum) & also blow job bars ( another member favorite) because the alleged activities that take place at these venues sicken me & I do believe the relevant practices are designed to humiliate women; to be "admired" by people who visit such venues, that is, the majority of members of this forum, is something that I definitely DO NOT WANT.
Believe me, I use this board mostly for the laughs that I get from it, with the Duck's scarcity these have diminished, there is definitely some useful info, but, quite a bit of inanities, often bizarre; am continuously amazed at how people think & behave.
BTW shitting dogs like EPC & yourself don't bother me in the least, so, continue with your shitting; you're welcome.
