So what is the argument here? Take away all the farang nightlife -- close the bars beer, the gogo's, burn down the Nana Hotel and bulldoze the parking lot -- and the impact is minimal.
With just a smattering of Thai you can still get laid faster than you can get from the ticket counter to the boarding ramp back home for your flight here.
There will always be massage parlours, karaoke and freelancer spots. Like the jarheads say, "Adapt and overcum."

Re: Nana -- burning's the only way. If you imploded it you'd release tons of dehydrated body fluids into the atmosphere.
