I did not intend to give that impression, it was purely hypothetical reply to the europe speaking german thing. I am well aware of the reasons, Germany actually declared war against the US 4 days after japan on december 11th 1941.
BTW DS Bones an IQ of 126 is pretty high considering only 1 in 20 or 5% of the world has an IQ over 125, as for 134 this will gain you access to Mensa - top 2% in the world, that study would suggest you do have to be intelligent to get you masters/phd. However this IQ data may well be quite old I think it is currently increasing due to kids having to work out IPODS from a very early age.
My IQ is obviously not high enough how do shrimps make your feet warm?

I think what they are trying to tell us is, as follows…a brief summary of this thread so far, as I have understood it.

First : I (and maybe most western non US citizens) don't hate America or americans. I (we) only hate Bush & co. Americans are and can be friends. So any link to any previous World War is irrelevant to the issue how good the US is/was/will be. George W. was not president then, so mine/our dislike for him has nothing to do with previous history. At least I can distingish a person from a people, I hope most people can.
Second : Mr. Alan is even more stupid then I thought. He contradicts my post by saying exactly the same things I said, only in very high detail that is of no interest on this forum. Maybe a lesson in reading should get you out of kindergarten. Probably not.
Third : Why is Bush stupid? Well first you have no concept of what stupid is. Let me clear that up. Everybody is stupid and everybody is smart. You, me, everybody. A BUSHpeople tribesman from the Kalahari dessert is very smart in survival in that dessert. He could survive on a handful of sand for a month. You, me and everybody on this forum is considered stupid by that tribesman because we could not survive 1 day in the dessert. We consider that guy stupid because he does not know what a mobilephone is.
I have read a thousend posts here stating bargirls are stupid because all the things said in this topic are way beyond their little brains. But bargirls are very smart in parting all of us smart guys from their money.
Some of you are very smart about planes as I can read here. I'm very stupid about planes. But that is no problem I pay pilots to do the flying for me. That works for me.
Now Bush is stupid because he is the most unqualified person to ever walk in the Whitehouse. That there are fields in live he is good at (like boozing) is of little interest if you are the leader of the world. I want a guy on that spot with world knowledge and leadership qualifications. And the only leadershipqualification he has is a big mouth.
The only thing I can give him is that his campaign was smarter then that of Kerry. But being able to get to the top does not make you a good leader. Just as those Boeing fetishists in here are not nessecarily good pilots.
So stupip/smart is relative. Relative to the path you walk in life.
So in closing, I don't hate americans, I feel sorry for the 1.000 soldiers that needlessly died since the end of the war because of that stupid commander in chief.
I don't hate americans, I feel sorry for Lindy England for having to fall in her sword so Bush and Rummsfelds can keep blameless.
I don't hate americans, I feel sorry for the american people for being constantly lied to (or atleast not being told the whole truth) by their leaders.
I don't hate americans, I feel sorry for the next generation that has to pay off George W's debt, the biggest ever in history and getting bigger for 4 more years.
Oh, personaly I gain by Bush being in office. He made the dollar so cheap that compaired to 3 years ago I can now f*** 4 bargirls for the price of 3. But that is just me being selfish.

It is common knowledge among historians that US President Roosevelt did eveything he could to involve the US in WWII against Germany without actually attacking them first. The US provided military escorts to convoys that sent military and other supplies to the UK. The nuetrality of the US was a ruse. Hilter just made it easier for Roosevelt by declaring war first, but war was inevitable in any case.
Here is some informaiton on that from the website below:
"In March 1941, President Roosevelt was still hoping for an incident involving the United States and Germany, according to Harold Ickes, Roosevelt's Secretary of the Interior. He reported: "At dinner on March 24, he [Roosevelt] remarked that 'things are coming to a head; Germany will be making a blunder soon.' There could be no doubt of the President's scarcely concealed desire that there might be an incident which would justify our declaring a state of war against Germany...."
Roosevelt and Churchill had conspired together to incite an incident to allow America's entry into the war. According to Churchill:
The President had said that he would wage war but not declare it, and that he would become more and more provocative. If the Germans did not like it, they could attack American forces.
The United States Navy was taking over the convoy route to Iceland.
The President's orders to these escorts were to attack any U-boat which showed itself, even if it were two or three hundred miles away from the convoy....
Everything was to be done to force "an incident".
