I wish it was our friend Jingjo typing this and not his shadow, oh well its under Jingjoes handle.
My response to the quote outlined above, well the top one not the 2nd one.
Sometimes I care about the ladies, probably most of the time if the truth be known. From what was relayed to me by the lady in question, was that she was going to a foreign country for the first time and she had some concerns about it. Her concerns were...
1. I have just met this elderly gentleman in the bar.
2. There is no romance and nothing offered.
3. He wants me to travel to another country on a return ticket free of charge, no strings attached he informs me.
4. He has told me he can get me some sort of work in a beauty salon or hairdressing salon, I have no experience in either.
5. He said I can live with his daughter in Sydney free of charge, no rent, no food money etc.
6. I do not need a work permit or associated paperwork with the countries laws.
7. He has paid for my passport and can obtain a 3 month visitor visa.
8. He wants nothing in return, just doing this out of the goodness of his heart.
9. He is mates with Jingjo and does not live far from Jingjo.
10. I speak with you Barra and ask your advice.

Well sometime later I spoke with the gentleman and he informed me it was all above board and the lady seemed to be a lady worthy of giving her a chance of a different life. He also informed me that he had done the same thing with 2 other ladies and they returned to LOS. If this was true I cannot say as their names and or phone numbers were never supplied to me for verifacation.
In the end I relayed this information to the lady and let her make her own decision, I stood back and let her decide. The decision making process was left in her hands.
Sometime later, it could have been a month or so, the lady called me and told me she did not go through with the trip and she was happy that she stayed in Thailand. The lady and I are still very good friends.
I do not own this lady, I am against slavery and servitudes. No-one should have that right, but it does happen unfortunately.
Sometime ago I posted on this forum an episode where a lady friend went to a different country in the middle east. I warned her of the possible dangers and she ignorned my advice. A case very similar to this one actually.
Briefly...she came back after about 3 days, in a bad state. Lied too and very disollusioned by the process. The first person she contacted after this ordeal when she arrived back in Thailand was me. When we met, she openly cried in my arms and she was like a little lost puppy dog. I will never forget that and this lady and myself are still very good friends. Scrog80 met her in Robinsons complex, Udon Thani having food one day.
So if you want to post something on here and have a go at me, please do and I will respond.

Seems to me that someone hit Jingjo / Jingjo's Shadow's nerve there - on the other hand, I guess it does explain a lot, that he lets someone else write his posts, if he wants to make an effort to be legible.
