Can anyone tell me is Si Bamphren (the soi where they caught this guy) is this the Soi right of of Soi Ngam Duphli? My first time in LOS as a young lad, with a backpack on was '88 and we stayed on that Soi, at the Bostin Inn, I still have nightmares about that 'dive'. Other than than it is amazing how the American Media is going out of it's way to 'bash' parts of Thailand in there coverage on this event, I would not even be following it that closely except it's got me curious at to what this character' was doing in LOS?

On the tele last evening they, court tv, had a past evidence show, linking a botched Boulder Co investigation with a suicide of a known offender in the area at the crime time, that dressed in Ninja clothes and stalked young girls, breaking into area homes etc. He committed suicide cause he may of thought he'd be caught.
Who knows now ? media and the justice system screwed up badly just like OJ case and others.
Hats off ! Cheers to the Thai police, they uncover and investigate on the spot and also expose on media the wrong doers. Pattaya does it well. Get a confession without coersion so the case wont go Cold on em.

while no doubt there is more sex with children than there should be, the Thai laws on this are pretty harsh..
up to and including the death penalty.. however, just as in the USA (and other places) if you have enough money you probably will get off without much more than embarassment...
I think Karr used this get out of jail free card.. enough of his story is already considered 'nonsense' that they will have trouble convicting him, unless he really wants to go to jail or says some really dumb things while drinking it up in biz class...

"Beyond reasonable doubt" will never be achieved and he knows it - his story is already full of holes - not a chance of a conviction unless something firm puts him at the scene - DNA, fingerprints etc. Admissions alone are worthless without other evidence.
IMO this creep will walk away from all this still wearing his smug smile. I doubt that he had anything to do with the little girl's death other than to enjoy reading about it as much as he could. Some research for a rainy day - that research has got him away scot free in business class from Bangkok hasn't it?
He is playing the system for the fool that it is and winning, except for the memory of the girl's death it would be funny. Enjoy.

Yes but I did not out anybody. Just expressing my thoughts on the freak.
Even more so now, in todays paper it revealed that the freak wanted a sex change.
Also and more ammusing, last night on CNN you could see that this Karr dude has had a hair transplant, you know the type where you see little clumps of hair all in a row with nothing inbetween. Think how cute this look will be when he eventually gets out of jail in how ever many years.
Wonder if his IT partner here is looking for a sex change also or a hair transplant lol. Really though, how could you go into partnership with such a shady character unless you were just as shady yourself. maybe they sat around of evenings swapping makeup and how to hide your cock stories. Wonder if they dressed each other, wonder which one played the female role or did they rotate.
