Sounds like a WIN-WIN situtation. It looks like you will not be spending much time in Toxic as girl selection is limited and if you do come it will only be to pop in and leave. This will leave good times for others to enjoy their drinks in a smoke free environment.
Sounds like everyone is a winner except RTB who is down a bottle of Black every night.

I believe Toxic was registered as a members lounge,,memberships paid pre no smoking ruling and therefore said members are free to smoke, whilst such membership remains valid..
At least that is the advice I've recieved from Sunbelt.

I thought some "brave?" member of this forum suggested he would personally arrest smokers?and MAKE them pay the fine imposed on the bar?

Actually, I believe no 'brave member' ever implied or said any such thing, but it was YOU who implied that and threw it into the mix as your own statement -- so now you have migrated to just plain making stuff up? Amazing.
As EPC pointed out quite accurately, you'll have a fun time explaining this to the police, and I certainly would love to see that unfold as it happens.

Perhaps easy to understand the controversy about smoking that is observed here. Being a "partysmoker" my self I like to have a puff when pouring down a beer or whisky. I like it but of course it is a stupid unnecessary habit - that I can easily live without.... and perhaps longer! So if a place has a no-smoke ban - fine with me! Will perhaps make it a nicer place. It is funny really here in Scandinavia where this ban has been active for a while now. Everyone likes it! Even the smokers!
This is just a stupid habit - unlike drinking and chasing bargirls half your age! Mohahahaha!
