two swiss guys I know had the great idea of forging a couple of million baht.
they printed lots of 1000 baht bills.
police and bangkok bank spokes men admired the swiss craftsmanship. "the best we have ever seen". nearly perfect. bank tellers admitted that they would not be able to tell the difference.
well, WTF happened, why where they caught, why did they not pay the money into a bankaccount, did a transfer and vanished??
oh no, they had a much better idea. they went to buy lottery tickets from the visibly impaired (as a test run).
the paper was not exactly right....
they are now both awaiting their fate at a bangkok prison.

Right they have those cash deposit machines and they could have just auto deposited it then withdrew it later.
