Don’t forget grandma! With National Mother’s Day coming up next month, stores and hotels are zooming in on special gifts and promotions with which to spoil that special lady in your life. But Central Pattana and Pao Ying Chub, which have got together for a pre-mother's day fair at Central Rama II, are also promoting happy families. The event, which runs from today to Monday, encourages young people to express their love and gratitude to their grandmothers. Dubbed “Love Mother, Don’t Forget Your Grandma”, the fair features two giant T-shirts measuring 2.24 by two metres. The blue one, signed by BMA’s permanent secretary Khunying Nathanon Thavisin, carries the message, “Mum, I love you the most”. Members of public are invited to write their own messages on the oversized white tee along with what they will do to show their gratitude to the most wonderful woman in their life. At 5pm each day celebs will share their experiences of taking good care of family members and offer tips on fostering warm relationships. There will also be fashion shows presented by kids, fun games and stage performances. The oversize T-shirts are produced by Pao Ying Chub to promote its new collection of Love Mom T-shirts. The tees come with seven different designs and in white and blue. The T-shirt costs Bt165 for kids and Bt185 for adults, and the polo version is priced at Bt245
