A BTF member who I met last night was still visibly shaken and traumatised by an episode the night previously.
Whilst walking past the Volvo garage as you approach Asoke on the North side of sukhumvit, he felt a hand go for his wallet in his back pocket.
Dropping his bag he wheeled around to find the sort of ladyboy his heart usually flutters for....but this time was different. He grabbed said beauty by the neck, and resisting all temptation to plant his tongue in 'her' (his words) mouth, he push the perp back to a wall and was contemplating breaking the f***ers nose.
Being a kind hearted soul, he let go, only realise that the katoey had now produced an 8" knife from the handbag of a colleague. The handbag he noted was a rather nice Gucci number, the sort he so often covets for his own 'secret ensemble'
The knife was brandished towards him, so he took a step back, thus leaving his bag exposed, closer to Somchai and his pals. Being a brave sort he charged forward a couple of steps, to push the dude away from the bag, but in the process putting himself close to penetration.
After collecting the bag, he turned his back only to have the nutter charge at him again wielding it's weapon like an elephant on heat. Agin he dropped his bag, and went through the dance that could lead to death. Luckily his threatening macho stance brought fear to the mascara clad face, slowly the brain began to function and the drugs wore off for that moment......and he was able to retrieve his bag and escape, to tell us....his friends....of his frightful tale.
In time this brave BTF member will recover his confidence, but it will take time.
He thanks you for listening, but wishes to remain anonymous, but let it be a warning to all who walk near the Volvo garage at 2:30am.

Story sounds like complete Nonsense/Bull Shit. Why all the crass joking about bags/kissing, if this individual was almost stabbed?

Story total fact.
You see some of us don't go through life as though it's a war, some of us see humour in most things. if you know which BTF member was involved you'd know, and you'd have seen the beaming smile on his face as he told us.....
Others deserved to be warned, but we don't all need to try the shock horror tactics of stu, we don't need any more ladyboy paranoia around here, treat them as the jovial characters they are.
The member in question has applauded my creative take on the story....
