I am surprised nobody has talked about this yet. It was on the front page of the paper today. These girls looked quite nice looking pictured alive on the front page.

The newspaper had more info then the article below. It said that they were telephone operators in Russia, and were here with a tour, but went off on their own for a few days.
They must have pissed of someone.
Bangkok, Feb 24 (Xinhua) Two Russian female tourists were shot dead early Saturday morning in Thailand's eastern seaboard resort of Jomthien, about 110 km southeast of Bangkok.
Tatiana Tsimfer, 30, and Liubov Svirkova, 25 were killed in Jomthien, close to the popular tourist resort town Pattaya, at around 5 a.m. (2200 GMT) when an unidentified gunman fired four shots at them from a 9 mm pistol, police said, Thai News Agency reported.
Their bodies were found lying on the beach while their personal effects were left untouched. Witnesses reportedly told police that they saw the victims drinking and swimming earlier.
Initially, police investigators believed that the Russian tourists probably quarrelled with a beach attendant which led to the killing.
Both Pattaya and Jomtien are popular beach towns and have seen receiving increased number of Russian tourists in recent years.
