... should be a blast of a film, though... probably bring in the sex tourists by the droves, which will make the corrupt police, army, government officials happy.

Actually when you consider movies like "Bangkok dangerous" and Brigette Jones diary on soi cowboy.
The western studio's are well aware the need to pacify the 50% of audience base, and protect the other 30% naieve (see 20-30 year olds)
Its one thing to do vegas and throw in far fetched Tigers in a hotel room, its all good fun.
But having a reasonably intelligent bar girl or escort in a room who is also attractive- would means droves come to Thailand
You cant have a happy 22 year old slim hooker with a 40 year old.....its outrage! but reality.
But the movie panned in a femist nazi way.
So long as the old stero typicals are wheeled out the feminists will be happy.
So stay tuned to see a combination of "lady is really man"
"love you long time 40 year olds"...with the extra kilos...and overtly looking prositute stero type appearence....sinster...theive maybe...HIV....or clingy.
No soapies.....or high end stuff...no MBK or CM2 it will be low end.
Gutless....box office appeal
And what will appease woman most...the hook up with a western woman to save the day.
The reality is anyone who ventures there must be a sex tourist and low moral standings.
You can not sell a movie that works from a premise that Thailand introduces you to young happy pussy, that treats men better.
Hollywood dont gamble too much.....
In a world where shallow westen values make sure a man with a asian woman in Bangkok is shunned on.
The light cast must be dim
Then again........its 2010 and if their IS a studios with balls maybe this is their chance to shine and tell it as it is.
