I'm so tired of some members (you know who you are) jumping all over someone for posting in the wrong area and/or asking the same question (s) asked previously. Relax, and stopping being such control freaks.
As a matter of fact, this issue has probably been discussed before. But, who the fcuk cares! I don't want to UTFSE!!! It's really No Big "F"ing Deal.
Why jump all over someone? Get a life, cuz u spend waaaaay tooooo much time here!
Just about everything there is to talk about regarding LOS has been covered before, and many people ask the same question cuz they want up-to-date releavant info on the topic, not some burnt out 2 yr old thread. I don't mind if someone asks the same question. I just might be able to provide an answer that I couldn't have 2 yrs ago.
If you can't make a meaningful contribution, just move on to the next thread.

When somebody posts a question that has been asked recently or several times before then I think it's okay for a more experienced member to explain about the search facility and/or add a short answer to the post.
There's also no need for the person replying to get abusive though. That's the part that I don't like as it might scare off the newbies and we were all newbies once, no?

disagree 100%.
When I first got here - some jackass posts some self-effacing crap about how much he loves the forum. He then goes on to ask questions which could have easily been answered by himself with a bit of exploration.
Short version - too lazy to do research - not using the forum as it was intended.
Legit questions will receive legit answers. Agree with Brack - a few like doctor death are positively corrosive in their disdain of anyone they consider beneath them. That's when the nastiness comes out.
