I went to check the details of a posting I made in December and noticed that it and an earlier posting on the same thread are missing. The reply postings are there.
Is this usual? I've always presumed the moderator/s would have this ability however don't think my postings would have necessitated gross editing.
Any chance they can be recovered/restored somehow.?

If Your postings are disappeared from thread it is a high possibility that they were removed by moderator and they will not be back.

I've reviewed the forum rules a number of times and am confident my missing postings did not breach them. Would the moderator remove for any other reason? Bit depressed about the whole thing....while not the raciest FRs ever penned I was a little proud of them.

I had a similar experience. An extract from one of my missing postings was slightly modified and posted under a Barons thread (I think) under my name. I definitely didn't do it.
Is it possible to contact a moderator??
