Hi Guys:
While the theory of not logging off on public machines may well provide an explanation for some spurious postings, I've only ever accessed the forum from my PC in my home in Australia. Noone else has access to the machine which is password protected and has both physical and software firewalls. And no I don't write down my passwords nor are they readily guessed. Still two of my postings were altered and a posting made under my name in a thread; strangely it did use an extract from one of my now 'missing' posts.

The high number of hacked logins / fake postings / editing are kind of alarming, arn't they ?!? What's going on ?

It should be alarming - I hear that this forum (as well as any sub-forums using the same engine) still have gaping security holes you can rive trucks through (or login and impersonate other users).
