Food for thought, certainly. If we have reached 280,000 in the first 8 years (?) it should take another 20 years from now (assuming posting continues at the same pace as until today). The more depressing question, to my mind, is not how many of us would have died but how many of us would be still alive but not upto it anymore, nursing a shrivelled penis and gazing at this forum screen and recalling younger, energetic, independent days.

Up until the day (around 2004) that one could check who where the most prolific posters, I remember I was first with over 7,000 posts and ringthebells was second a few hundred posts behind. That was then. By now, almost 6 years later, I am sure others are way ahead, as both RTB and I have reduced our posting activity
BK, please remind us, what were the aprox. dates when the 100k and 200k posts were made?
