Popsecret.....at the end of the day we're looking for something and so are they. We're having fun with the girls as much as they are from us. We don't have to go to these places and they don't have to work there. If there were no punters there'd be no go go, if there was no go go no punters etc. Same in any field.
Am not naive and am sure these girls aren't either. I go, have my fun and leave....I'm sure they think the same way. Hopefully at the end of the day we both leave happy.
Wouldn't want it different.

FYI I didn't refer or compared them with animals... It's just the way we interact with animals to make them do what we like to see.... in casu giving the dog a biscuit to let him sit up or throwing chickens at crocodiles to see the frenzy.... not a lot of difference....
It's a little naive to think the girls have fun doing this 'game' or dancing 8 hours half naked. It's only the 15 baht that counts.... the more balls the better....

I suppose we interact with them in many ways like animals 
I appreciate it can't be much fun at times but my point was they do seem to have a laugh with the ping pong ball thing which I enjoy. As you say the more the better.

There used to be (perhaps still is) a bar on the left side in NEP (Mermaidium?) that had a huge tank of water along a wall with some BGs bobbin about half neked. I saw several other BGs chuckin' coins in (they got them from their current punter I s'pose) and the mermaids dove for them. Some waitresses were screamin' encouragement to their BG friends to get to the coins first!

f_cking hell! That was only about 8 years ago! Mind you, I've never seen a looker in there so can see how you'd miss it out on the rounds (I do too).
Ah yes, Nana Plaza - the place where there's still space to park the cars in the middle, a restaurant next door to Pretty Lady and pool halls at the top...;)
However, you do make a good point. They're not being treated like animals - it's just being done for fun. Does the guy who made the 'animals' remark know just how bored girls get doing the same old routine every day? Or anywhere? f_ck, at my office, we'd happily scramble for mini-Mars bars to break up the monotony!
And it's even more in the blood of Thais. Hasn't he seen how crazy Thais get for those pathetic little lottery 'free-gifts' Tesco-Lotus used to give you when you'd finished shopping...

The routine is not to break the 'same old' routine' it's another way to get money out of punters. As said it's not done for fun.

Well, my heart bleeds for these poor little bargirls. Doing the same old boring stuff every day to get money, having to put a brave face on things some of their customers might expect them to embrace as fresh treats. That's about 90% of the working office population summed up...
"Appalling"? Logically, how much worse can it be? They're already selling their bodies like meat. Being treated like animals has got to be one step up from meat - at least an animal's still alive!
