know most of the staff /regulars at soi 7 beer garden, having been plucking freelancers out of there for a dozen plus years, and dont think any management involved at all to that degree. The staff know the regulars of course, actually a good way to confirm if the TG is telling you she comes in very rarely, but is on first names with the staff.... It is a pick up place by some Thai guys who have to supply a girl somewhere ASAP, - and yes, alot of the regulars arte getting older, and have been around, Ms Pookie for one, still looks good, must be 30 now, same goes for Ms Rin, - can't really put Ms "Jip" in the same boat, she's only 27, but is pretty, great body, wears braces, has a sponser or two, as do most of the good sorts in there, but of course that dosent stop them being on the lookout for some extra ! The ones who have either had an earn the night before, or a ST earlier in the day, will eat at the seafood place, the ones who are awaiting an earn, will have a 20 bt somtum just outside to the left, or eat in the small soi running thru to soi 5 -

Took some old timers to the Garden, and I was very disappointed. Reminded me way too much of the Thermae. Mostly horrid old things if you asked me. Though was surprised by the amount on offer at 7pm. Just stayed for the one drink.

Have to agree F-b, hardly likely to get any "Stars" at soi 7, although as I may have mentioned, often some good sorts just go in for a quick look around 9-10pm on their way to somewhere else - the plus's are drinks are cheap, you dont get hassled, no bar fine, - and occasionally, sometimes loitering by the entrance, you can find something not bad -

What is the deal with the girls on the bench at the entrance. Is this some kind of pecking order thing? And how do you sollicit them if you are already sitting at a table or at the bar? Are you expected to make a move when you pass them in the way out or in?
Another newbie remark on my part (this was my first and only trip), I didn't have a problem with the girl's looks, but I thought that compared to the average "office lady" that you see on the streets, the average free-lancer was very badly dressed. To be fair, I have to say that I like women in dress and nice shoes. Jeans and enormous clog-shoes do nothing for me. It's a matter or personal taste though...

once you've been there, you know why the place is referred to as mutant bar. If you like freelancers of the classy category, you better check out cm2... To get into something decent in Soi 7 is a matter of luck.

Well, it's not so much a matter of "classy", more a matter of "sexy". ĘPants just don't do it for me. I might check out CM2 next time. Thanks for the tip.
Of course it's all a question of personal taste. Taking a woman out of a pair of pants is a bummer :-(
On the question of a mutant bar, to me that would be the Grace Hotel. I understand that nowadays this is the place to be at night, but last time I was in BKK I visited the place twice, and what a freaking dump that was !

bigdusa you better give grace a second chance! esp. these days in the downstairs bar you have about 500 girls ready to be picked and quality is form soi7 mutants up to normal girls and cm2, mp, siam hotel quality most are girls are actually gogo girls with some soi 33's in there!
imho much classier than soi 7!

whilst I rarely get to NEP/Patpong etc, probably not alot about soi 7 that i dont know off..... and correct, the standard, especially during the day, is very ordinaire .. however, usually between 9-10pm most nights, many girls will wander in, not stay, or perhaps just go to the salons out the back, and you do get some good sorts amongst them. You need to hang about the entrance way, dont sit at the main bar, and I'd be surprised if in 30mins-an hour during that timeframe, you did not spot one or two who impress you a "Litten bit "
