Ah Hum, you have me sussed. I was indeed blessed with the same name from said movie. It has indeed influenced my life cause having been given that name I have made oriental ladies who get involved with 'Profit related dating' my life, all cause of a film and a name. What a sad man i am. You shouldn't have called me Lobert, makes me go week at the kneens.

I'm sure every man over 35 who appreciates asian women has vivid memories of that movie. Even at 65 (or whatever she is), I'd probably still bed Nancy Kwan if the opportunity arose (which for her sake, I hope it doesn't). Although I always had a special place in my heart for the girl in glasses who was always knitting 
I am, however, a little miffed at her website, which has a "For Adults Only" section that was quite a disappointment.

I feel quite saddened that Thermae only has a small thread on this web site. I think out of respect for the place it should have it's own heading on the main page.
Don't many of you go down to Thermae any more? this place is an institution in Bangkok, always was, always will be.
I know the 2am closing has bollxed things up for the place a bit, but why don't a few of you pop in and have a drink in 'good old Thermae'
I predict that soon, this place will be able to stay open untill the early hours again, and regain itself as the best after hours, people watching coffee shop in the world, and as the poster used to say 'of course there are the women' ( thanks to Christopher Moore)
So please come in and show your resects by having a drink in ...........THERMAE..........
I'm always in here sitting by the phone eating fried chicken.

also felt like i should pay tribute to the thermae again and was there the last 3 nights just to check the quality again!
but not the same as it used to be! only old grumpy men and more grumpy tg! some young ones but also looking desperately sick or damn ugly!
for sure not an "in-place" at the moment, nothing compared to the quality at grace or nana disco!
