- can't see a heading for "Thermae" BK ?? - anyway as it is getting an upsurge in trade now that Grace is under pressure, - must pass on a possible early Xmas present for the Bro's, but figure you will need to be quick ! Found loitering last night, around 11;30pm, just at the bottom of the steps and outside the rear entrance - [this I take it her usual "spot' and time of arrival ] Miss Baeng - age 19 [ checked the ID card ] from Chiang rai - is she a cutie, as good a sort as Ive seen in Thermae for some time, OK, more of the miniature model, but a perfect one at that ! Said [ whats new ] she was a student, and just goes sometimes when she needs money, did not have a mobile, but figure it wont be long before she does, or else is permanently snapped up by one of the Japanese guys, who now frequent Thermae, and having been used to Soi Thaniya prices, have no trouble out-bidding most of us !

I have seen a few references to this, but I simply don't remember a beer garden at the Ambassador while I was in town. I was staying next door at the GP.
So, where is that beer garden? In that little shopping plaza between the Amb and Sukhumvit? And what are the best time (if any) to shop around?

Ambassador set up a stage for singers in the front courtyard, and tables/beer/food in front of this, out to the Sukhumvit road frontage - become a place for the freelancers to loiter, as they get a bit tired walking all the way from Soi 7 to thermae [soi 15] in one hit !! Have not seen a lot of "class" there, but no doubt you occasionally find one you fancy - problem is, as soon as they motion you to sit down, you will be probably faced with the beer/food bill !!

What are the hours of operation (with ladies on premises) for the Ambassador beer bar?
Also, at what time does Thermae open? Or rather I should rephrase that as "at what time does Thermae start to have a small contingent of free-lancers on hand?" I'll be staying very close by Thermae this coming trip and I don't need a room chock-full of ladies to be happy. Last time I was there I went before midnight (I had been told to go only after 02:00am; that was pre-crackdown) and there was plenty to choose from (for my not-so-jaded taste anyway

Ambassador beer garden seems to get into action around 9, and slow down around midnight - which is about when the singers stop. Thermae open also around 9pm, a few desperates in there by 11, - some not too bad from 11-1am, and at its peak 1-2am. Generally tho, you will see the same faces at beer garden soi 7, Ambassador beer garden, then thermae - as the better looking ones get some action along the way, maybe the ones that end up at thermae aren't so hot, or didn't get an earn the night before, and havent got the 160 bt Admission to nana disco ! Certainly more of the non-regulars, get to these places friday and sat.

soi 7, in fact opposite the beer garden, how do you rate the SINGHA BEER seller, at the open restaurant, not bad by my standards, - and I certainly dont over-rate many ! Be interested to see if any of the Bro's can make inroads, - told me she is there nightly apart from Mondays.
p.s. Whilst on the area, Mr.J please note ; just spied little ms Sao, back from planting rice in Ban nok, judging by the hands, darker skin, a true story, - so she should be nice and fresh .... for a while 555 ! Actually probably dosent get alot of offers, as very quiet, sits back, and always just dressed in the jeans and baggy T-shirt.

I spent a lot of time in the internet cafes at the side of the Ambassador Beer Garden and never took much notice of any freelancers. I will have to loiter with intent in the area when next in BKK.
We see but do not observe.
