bad news at first: do not go to rainbow 3 not worth as only old girls with a lot of mileage there.
rainbow 2: frequented mainly by japanese these days, so in a way a sex factory as you will get service by the dancing damsels with a ST approach. Lots of girls about 200 and some are pretty nice! Some farang guys like this place particulary for the waitresses who are sometimes more stunning than the dancers and are all barfineable!
rainbow 1: the party place in the rainbow group of bars. most girls are pretty into party, drinking and other things. so if you want a good night out with some sex later one of the good places in town. not as many stunners as in rainbow 2 but many nice girls and their attitude makes up double for the little lack of beauty compared to the rainbow 2 girls. unfortunately a lot of japanese are also discovering this place now -> rising prices, decreasing attitude of the girls!

Last time i was in Rainbow 2 it had a delectable selection of ladies far and away better than any other establishment in NEP but the girls know it and most only want s/t and race in and out of your hotel.Okay if you are hot and in a hurry but if you want a "pretend" girlfriend for the night not the place to go.

I met a girl about two years ago...very briefly in a hotel reception (she was booking in for the night with a guy so no time to chat)...but always would have liked to see her again......
Anyway found her in Rainbow Bar next to Play Skool on Friday night...but too late for me too baother. Had a drink with her and was unsure about her attitude wise....so......anyone know anything about the skinny lass with the galsses in Rainbow Bar?...she's from Petchabun...(that I remember.....)....but God knows what her name was.....possibly Porn.......she's gangly...and no stunner....but may float my boat in the right circumatances.....

if she is working in rainbow1 which is to the right beside playskool her name is probably 'joy'! and she is really a lot of joy! good heart and a lot of fun to be with! actually my new year f_ck 3 years ago! not the best looking girl but the attitude compensates for everything!

Ah yes, Rainbow II.
A large runway jam-packed with Bangkok's finest, nearly all of whom are racing to be the first to turn 50 tricks that night and whose hopelessness in the sack is legendary.
The visuals are quite outstanding, it has to be said.
A great place to bring a friend new to Thailand for his very first experience of the scene. Such a person can be relied on to give way at the knees approximately 2 seconds after arrival, whereupon he will need to be dragged, emitting occasional gurgling noises, to one of the few available seats.
Having propped up your friend behind a beer, you can proceed to give him the standard lecture about not going with the first girl who turns up, waiting for the click, etc etc. This is purely for form's sake, as all the higher mental functions of the mouth-agape, bug-eyed wreck of a human being who was once your friend will by now have closed down completely.
He will, of course, go with the first girl who turns up, and you will make an enemy for life by forcing her price 'down' to a usurious 2,000 baht. Twenty minutes or so later, he will be back, a beatific expression on his face, wittering something about being ready to die now.
Only at the end of his holiday will he admit that this was quite the worst sexual experience he had the whole time he was in Thailand.
By God, they are lovely to look at though. Ý

gotta to agree with Griffin, we can skipped Rainbow 2 and 3!! the younger and prettier gals are all in Rainbow 1, and what more, they are friendly and naughty too!! saw a couple of cuties there last week, but my hands were tied then, however, did flirted and spoke to a cutie, slipped some $$ into her boots before i left and indicated that i'll be back for her soon!! ha, i bet she've forgotten me by now, and i've forgotten how she looks too!! thats the problem if u have too many to drink.... gee... was that a 100B or 1000B i slipped into her boots???

Just an update on the Rainbow bars. I'm not sure if there are recent comments on these places. I went to all of them in late February/early March 2004. Rainbow 1 and 2 has a big selection of women and the best looking compared to other go go bars. Most of the time, there were at least 30 to choose from. Rainbow 1 is very crowded and getting a seat can be difficult. The mamasans can be a little pushy at times. Rainbow 3 had less girls to choose from, the women were at best average, and should be avoided.
