On Thursday the 29th of Sept one of our long standing Members passed away.
SO5 aka Beretta RIP
Many years ago I stumbled onto BKK2Nite around 03, after I'd been back and forth to the Kingdom on some Business I needed to find info as you do,so I went to a few of the RT's.
One RT was starting at the new Gulliver's, where I meet SO5 and others, Local was there who could forget this fellow.
Any way over the years Beretta (SO5) would pm me as he would go over 4-5 times yearly to see as he called her his Mrs, I'd scratch my head,but your not married mate I'd say.
After many years and many Thousands of Dollars Beretta got her a visa and brought her over to Australia where he worked in the Family Business selling Guns to the public and the Victorian Police.
At first things seemed good, Beretta bought some Buddha's from me as I used to have a retail Shop selling mainly Products from Thailand, than he wanted to talk on SKYPE
At first it was just chit chat once in a while every couple of months, than he started telling me that things weren't all rosy.
Mate the Mrs got a job making sandwiches and she making $1400Aud a week he says, I said BS she's not even supposed to be working mate be careful!
Turns out she did get a job but it wasn't making sandwiches,so poor Beretta is heart broken after spending more money than he could afford and piling up the credit card to the max just to keep this TG happy.
He told me and I said SEND her back mate!
No No Jingjo I love her!
Mate that's not love pal what you lose face like a Thai f*** off wake up son!
After a while it goes from bad to worse and I'm working 7 days a week and have No time for this day's of our life Dramas so I Kindly say Mate wake up and get over her or don't contact me any more.
About a year passes and I haven't had any contact and than out of the blue I get a SKYPE from Beretta's Father whom I've never met.
Hi Mate I know you know Elliot as I've seen him SKYPE you before etc

Can you talk some scene into him? he's spending all the Business money and I'm old and sick, this Girl is a devil and he won't listen even all my mates have tried to talk but he just hits the bottle every day, some days a full bottle of Scotch & beers.
Mate just cut the Money off I say!
I can't help you his your Son and I only know him as an acquaintance, Please can't you talk to him as I know you have a Thai Wife, OK I'll try but I know he won't listen I've tried before mate.
So I tell him get over her mate she's just used you to get out to Australia get it, still on death ears he wants to hang in.
Than Elliot decides to take her to Bali to try and change things, SURE Leopards never change there Spots.
Well I get an e-mail from him and she's been playing up in Bali and it's on, I saw the photo's poor guy was bashed and bitten all over, this TG is some piece of work.
About a year on SO5 couldn't handle life and just hit the Bottle, jaundice and Hospitalized he'd escape to find a drink his kidney's and Liver just couldn't handle it any more and he was put on a life support but it was turned off as it was to late, I'll always remember this death as it's is my Sons Birthday.
He was a Harmless Guy and it is SAD that this can happen.
Well now Elliot your pain is gone and you will be remembered and missed by your Family & Friends
We tried to no avail,others out there pussy is not the be all & end all.
I say to you all every thing happens for a reason, learn from it!
Move on forgive.
Never give up Never give in!
Life's to dam short as it is.

This really, really sucks -- thank you, Jingjo, for posting this - basically, his epitaph, for us.
I always found Eliot to be a nice guy, and I also found it saddening that he was often played and made fun of by the same group of miscreants on this forum - I sure hope they are happy, now, as I'm certain some of them will laugh at his passing.
Personally, I'd raise a glass to him, and toast with you, mourning his passing. Really sad.

Good post jingjo - I am truely very sorry at that news and outcome
He was posting on talk a few weeks ago-
You did your best to talk the guy around - but seems bottle had won out-
The Moral of the story is dont let a woman drag you into the pitts of depression and the old proverb of "plenty of fish in the sea" must suffice-
He has been a very long standing old member here -
This is shocking news and a tragic outcome-
If there is anyone reading this heartbroken over some woman be it a thai or other wise - dont hit the bottle-
Just go get another one

Made some calls and talked to his poor Mother, Eliot was just 48 years I think
Seems he was on life support for about a week but the body shut down.

everyone's DIFFERENT and that what makes the World
We all need Love in some way or another.
Yes I'm upset at Him for giving up, that's why we all need Friends, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind in situations like this, I did try on many occasions maybe not hard enough,I have no excuse.
The Family will hold a Private Funeral and wish to be left alone to put to rest there only Son.
Life goes on and we must carry on and take Care of our own Family's.
If any one's in Bangers around the 10th of Oct and wants to share a Beer pm me.

Thanks for posting JJ I never met him but remember his
posts over the yrs.
Sad but we have all been there to some degree.Its all fun and games until you fall in love then your brain stops functioning. Eventually you get over it and move on unfortunately for him and his family he did not.
RIP Berreta We are[were] about the same age mid-life crisis tell me about it.
