Hi guys,
this is my first post on the board so go easy on me!
I have however been to LOS 3 times before and am off again on the 15th October (arrive 16th) to 27 October (leave 26th). Only 10 nights really. Anyway, it'd be great to meet up with some of you guys for a beer. That way you can tell me where I've been going wrong.
If you are not interested in newbie ramblings you can stop reading now!
Now that's out of the way, I can go into my experiences on my trips so far. First time I went to LOS I was with a friend. We did BKK for 3 nights and then Pattaya for 11 nights. 1st night in BKK - had a grope but got no other action. (Un) fortunately it turned into a major drinking session with my mate ending up unconsious on the bar. Poor old mamasan was crapping herself. I had to carry him back to the hotel! Anyway second night I did ST with a girl from Nana. She was a great laugh. Went back the next night to see her but she was already gone. Got talking to another girl and took her back to room for LT. Had a great time. I told her that I was off to Pattaya the next day and she gave me her phone number and asked me to give her a call if I wanted to. So off we tootled to Pattaya. Went beer baring the first night ended up not finding much - I don't think my friend was much of a guide ("go-go bars are too seedy, and I don't like this bar and I don't like that bar"). He'd been a few times before but it my first visit so it was all good for me! Anyway, ended up getting no action again (unforgiveable in hindsight!). Next day I placed a call with my girl from BKK (a more experienced mate has told me he'd never do this but she worked out as cheap as girls in Pattaya and I liked her at the time - so there). My mate did the same with a girl from BKK too. My girl wanted 90 baht for the bus - no problems there I told her. His girl wanted 4000 baht for travelling expenses! GULP. Anyway, she said she'd be there the next day. We went beer barring again that night and I managed to find a nice girl to have some fun with. Took her back to hotel for LT. Friend did the same with girl from same bar. Had a hell of a time trying to chuck her out the next day to make room for incoming BKK girl. There was no real problem, just she wouldn't take her arms from around my neck! Anyway, I managed to get her out just in time. I stayed with the girl from BKK for the next 4 days. She was great fun and I had no problems at all. Anyway my mate was having problems with his girl from BKK after 2 days (of the money variety - i.e. she wanted lots of it). So he shipped her off. She didn't take it particularly well but there was no real problem. He went back to the girl from the Pattaya bar while I hung with my BKK girl. Anyway, my mate and his Pattaya girl persuaded me to send my BKK girl back after 4 days and go with the Pattaya girl who I saw before (they were from the same bar). I did. BKK girl went with no problems. I missed her after she had gone. The other girl wasn't quite as good for me as it happens - I still had fun though. Anyway, I left Pattaya a day early before we went home and had one last night with my girl from BKK. First visit over - phew - definitely not the last.
Anyway, I talked to these girls on and off over email after I got home. Pattaya girl was giving the better patter. So it came time for my next trip. My friend couldn't make it this time so I went myself and arranged to meet up with Pattaya girl. This time I hit BKK and Phuket but I had TG in tow all the time. It was OK until towards the end. She was getting constant phone calls from other guys (fair enough, I know what she does but it was annoying). The worst thing though is that she spawned another brother overnight. It went from 3 to 4 with the mystery new brother in Chiang Mai who looks after my girls car, apparently. The car needed 6000 baht repair. Would I pay? Here we go I thought. Luckily I had been warned about this sort of stuff by a 10 year veteran friend of mine. Errmmm...let me think for a millisecond......NO. Of course she had a minor sulk on then. She came out of it but things were never quite the same. Anyway, I stayed with her (probably shouldn't have) until the end.
Went home.
Time for the next trip. Mate still couldn't make it. I have to mention that these 3 trips were made in less than 12 months (I like Thailand  . So this time I arranged to meet BKK girl. This time I hit BKK, Pattaya and Koh Chang. KC was worth the visit alone. What an awesome place. Easily the most beautiful place I have been to on Earth so far. Anyway, things were going well. Little head was happy but it was about half way through that the BS started. She wanted me to hire a motorbike from her friends shop. I didn't want to. Cue minor sulk. She also wanted me to pay her friend to drive us around. I didn't want to. She wanted me to buy her gold. I didn't want to. She wanted me to buy her a new phone. I didn't want to. Finally she wanted me to buy drinks for all of her friends as well while we were in BKK. I don't mind doing this once or twice but not ALL night! Anyway, I stayed with her (probably shouldn't have but I was getting my kicks so I thought better the devil you know for this trip). Went home!
Anyway, we get to my trip in October. First time with no mate to go with and no TG to meet me (I don't want to see either of those two again!). I'm a little bit nervous. I don't really relish hanging out in bars on my own, though I know that I'd only be on my own for about 30 seconds. I'm planning to start in BKK and then move to Pattaya. I don't know how long in each - not booked hotels yet. Anyway, if any of you guys are around and want to tell me how I've done things all wrong in the past and how I should be doing things this time, then I'd be happy to take a verbal scolding and some good advice over a beer or three.
Any other advice will be greatly appreciated.

I will be spending the whole of Oct in LOS, mainly in Pattaya but will also spend a few days here and there (Khon Kaen, Bkk, Samui). Would be great to meet for a night out barhoping. Will PM you.
Sounds like you've been doing the right thinks and having fun. The only thing missing is to do some butterflying and meet a few of the guys on this forum for nights out.
If you meet a girl you really like, try not to spend all your time with her and go out with the guys to different bars and meet other ladies and party. You can always arrange for your fav girl to meet you later.
Also, if you are with a girl a few days and decide its time to move on, just tell her and don't feel bad about it (just be polite) as its your time and money and once you leave another guy will arrive and she will just move on to the next guy etc....we are also doing thesame and its just one big merrygoround!

yeah it'd be great to meet up for a few beers. I haven't decided how long to spend in BKK before heading off to Pattaya yet. I'll PM you as soon as I have.
You are right what you say though. I need to practice butterflying a bit more. I've never gone out hunting on my own though, so I always tend to stick with what I've got. I'm sure I'll soon have the hang of it - and the practice certainly has its compensating factors too! Anyway, I'm learning all the time from swotting up on this forum. It's weird to see situations described here where you have had virtually exactly the same thing happen but in a different location with a different girl. I guess "Same sh_t, different girl" just about sums it up! But then that's women all over (or the ones I meet anyway - cynical git me). The info on here helps to put it all into perspective anyway. So cheers for that guys!

I'd barhop with anyone before barhopping by myself. Better to hunt in packs over a few sociable beers eh? I'll PM you once I've got my itiinerary sorted. I just need to figure out how many nights in BKK.
I'm thinking 3 at the minute. First one doesn't count as I don't hit the ground till 7pm. Though I'll still be heading out somewhere that night . Anyone around for a welcome drink? I'm thinking Beergarden (name?) on Soi 7 as I'll be getting a hotel near there. Then I think 2 more nights or maybe just 1 before heading off down to Pattaya. I'll probably stay there until 25th spending that night back in BKK before heading off on th 26th.

Yea ! we all like the familar cause we are trained by western womanhood to be true chumplike and pay for gifts and their needs. Frickin Barbie Doll / Cinderella story that never pans out cause she'll always get other guys. Looks like "she wanted" everything you had to budget on trips over there. Thats why they ask you how long you been in town cause they'll Extort baht from you, like daughters do when shopping. They hate to see you Butterfly and get around; let alone doin sports stuff like golfing or diving.
Be secret and travel much, see much, go city, go rural, go seaside, do she it that guys do and BUTTERFLY like a CIA man in need of a Mission. Become instant cheating Bad Boy and they will like that more than you think. Makes for better sex with others that follow. Never go back to the same place more than once or they'll take advantage of the sucker loverboy we all have in our hearts. The clique groupie sisterhood will see to that also. It always bout other punter either. They have wealth goals too; house in Issan, take care of entire rural familiy, let alone gambling and drug habits.
If you want to find BG thats secure, find one that has some wealth from benefactors abroad; go for the mamasans that mangage the younger prettier ones.
Just gonna miss ya in Pattaya land leavin Oct 14th. Just wander from place to place, day to day, and lie about your life with them. Learn to sway/skew things a bit; like on business trip and not in town much. Protect and guard yourself and listen and react with a Meow/ No. Tip your security/bellman/browns nearby your room occasionaly also cause once they know where your staying the phone calls and stop by never cease. Security will throw then out and lie bout your wherabouts also.

The way I run my game is alot different then what Stray Gypsy suggests.
I tell them up front I butterfly and if they have a problem with it. Next! I don't play with them being possessive. Last few trips I've been staying with one BG with st thrown in.
Some trips, I butterfly other trips, I butterfly.
