Rio, huh? Well, that's a switch from Thailand. But, I am sure you will have just as much fun there with the busty brasillians  Also, I think they celebrate new year's eve with a lot more gusto. So, here' s wishing you a whale of a time.
I have a wedding to attend on December 28 in Texas. So looks like I will have a long flight into BKK for the 31st. Unless ofcourse I skip the wedding and get killed by my friend and his wife. Will manage somehow.

hi all
umm.... this New Years' Rt things sounds wonderful!!! but can i share some views with all brotheres here.
firstly, travelling around that time of the year is pretty crazy, full flights, hotels, and all the traffic jams!!
secondly, maybe we can all provide some dates and pick a day where most of us can attend. then we all can make plans, reservations from there. be it pre or post festivals celebrations, as long as we all have a hell of a good time, who cares!! and BTW, those peak period will only see a increase in basically everything, from food to TGs and worst, the invadsion of tourists!!!!
well, thats where i think we should begin with. for the party plans etc, i think theres a lot of brothers here who can think of a good time. hope to hear from all!

Yeah when I thought to ask for this from BK, I did it (in hopes) early enough for those that have plans to be there, to be able to adjust. So chrisboy, we must spread the word and start getting some feed back, so that we can be there and lay some feet back. May choice will be Dec. 31, 02 of course. Reason " The round table began this year" and it seems fitting that if people are traveling any way, we could sinch up the loop and get together for a R/T Party. 3 Cheers and appreciation for BK's efforts with this Brain storm...

Bigin, well, yes, it is true that we started the RT this year, and it should end with a bang. However, chrisboy noted that at that point in time (i.e. 31st Dec), it would be too crowded and prices would be inflated, what if we switched the day to say, 30th or 29th? That way, we could get more bang for the bucks (baht)!

I'm all for making it to this round table no matter when is. We can celibrate it's creation along with the new year
on anyday of the month. Really for me it dose'nt matter, as long as we can pull a whole lot of bros. & sis together. In light of that, we realy need to get some more feed back as to when and if anybody will be round and or comeing round. We have to start getting the dates in to make the actual date of the R/T, same as all the others. Thats my concern at the moment. I just want that this is out there for all to see and make adjustments or arrangements. I hope it's enough time for all of us to plan to get together...

I agree everything will be more expensive on the 31st but a day or two earlier will not make much difference because all those who are traveling to BKK will be there a couple of days earlier in any case. And tickets will have to be booked way in advance for travel anytime betwee December 24 and January 4.
