That's interesting. I just noticed this thread and I know the owner of the deliciousnick email. He told me he had to close down his email because (and he's not 100% sure here) a girl that he met via the classifieds had hijacked his email and was sending out abusive messages to everyone.

FM great story. I see Dr. Love gets on his high horse when it is one of his customers, but is the first to cry foul when someone else is promoting their commercial interests. Who said that there are no more go shows in BKK anymore? The RT is full of them. Ever since the free drinks hours the shows have been non-stop.

FM, you, and your butt buddy were totally out of line. You were just egging him on to get the reaction you got. You came close to getting your ass wiped across NANA parking lot.
It's interesting no other member that was at the RT is sticking up for you. Think about it when you continue to twist your story.

Regardless of the details (I wasn't there), he who resorts to physical violence as a response to verbal sparring, is actually proving the point the oponent was trying to make: that he is obtuse. Resorting to violence is a sign of frustration in those situations; and frustration comes because the brain cannot find a way to articulate a different (and smarter) reply, thus violence becomes the only response a primitive mind can give.
I do not know XXXL, but by the fact that after whatever verbal exchange took place at the RT, when he sees FM his bile raises and all he wants to do is go punch FM, my first impression is that the guy must not be very smart.

OK what is the rest of the story?
FM was kind of vague on what started the whole deal in Toxic. – Seems a bit of banter back and forth that ended in Aspiring Writer (AW) wanting to step outside, and FM declining to accept the offer.
Then AW sees FM in Nana parking lot and makes a beeline to restart what had been defused earlier at Toxic? Not getting satisfaction out of this second encounter AW returns yet again to see what’s what with FM in said parking lot?
DL spin on things was kind of interesting, first because as Mr. Smegma points out it is not all that uncommon for “issues” between members to be discussed on the forum. As degaul pointed out the good Doctor himself discussed an “issue” he seemed to be having (along with it seems several other members) on the board.
Next because like FM, he failed to really give us any insight into what transpired from his perspective – with the exception of a degrading tone, and a few insults. If it was indeed over tone and a few perceived insults it seems Mr. AW needs to take a few classes on anger management. While I can see that pushing things a bit during the original meet at Toxic, does not seem deserving of the follow-ups in Nana parking lot.
The good Doctor also mentions something about keeping AW away from FM – unless FM’s take is incorrect this does not seem to be the case as there appears to have been three encounters. Not such as stellar job of keeping him away if you ask me.
On final comment on the good Doctors post – “A girl which, with your terrible looks, would walk past straight past you” – who are you kidding? Looks has little to nothing to do with it – especially if said lass was found after hours in Nana parking lot, or along Suk. It’s all about the baht. Then again I have never seen FM and there are some pretty ugly Canucks running about these parts.
Good to see KB chime in with his comments, as he points out, he had neither the influence of booze nor financial interests in said happenings. On the flip side what little KB does give us seems to be along the same lines as what the good Doctor implies. That all of this was over a verbal exchange that began at Toxic -Which again I find hard to help support justifying three encounters.
If FM is to be believed then AW just would not let sleeping dogs lie, and basically was the instigator of the degradation of the situation. Not wanting things to end on the verbal note (either because he was not winning the verbal battle, or because FM pushed him over the top with his verbal attack) AW seemed to want to take things to the next level (the physical level), but since neither party was willing to take the initial physical step no physical interaction took place (which might actually imply that AW kept coming back hoping to get FM to take the first physical step).
If the good Doctor, and/or KB are to believed then FM came at AW with such an unprovoked verbal assault that mother Theresa herself would have stabbed him with her crucifix.
While here in the real world, and quite possible even in LOS, things were probably somewhere between the two accounts. What I still fail to grasp (but I am a bit simple minded) is why AW seemed to be unable to let it go after the initial encounter in Toxic? Not enough other things to keep him entertained in the Nana carpark?
In any case I am pretty sure Canuck around the world are hanging there heads in shame over the whole incident. As anyone that is the least bit familiar with the great sport of ice hockey knows that any Canuck worth his salt will have a good punch up over something as simple as an untied skate.
