Bok Hah started this thread and I would like to continue with a story.
Bok Hah and I have become friends and we tried to arrange a meeting and have a Beer over this period.
due to circumstances it was decided that it would be difficult.
but WE WILL meet in the future,i promise him.
at the same time I was chatting to Liftoff and trying to arrange a meet.
Liftoff and I became friends very early after we both joined the Forum and have tried to have a meeting for a LONG,LONG time.
finally we arranged things I i was looking forward to meeting him yesterday (Sat 20th).
we know things about each other which we might not have disclosed to others and the friendship was a good one.
i caught the Train to where he lived and I stood outside the station looking around for him,i heard my name called and I saw Liftoff by his car.
i rushed over to him and the handshake was shared between us.
i knew things about him and will not talk about them here,as I do not think he had told about them in public.
but he knows how happy I was to meet another person this night.
we went for a Beer in his favourite Bar and just got chatting and getting to know each other.
back to his home and the meal was cooked by the good man himself while a couple of Beers were sunk.
we talked and talked and attempted to put the world to rights.
we looked at the Forum and chatted about the Forum itself and the issues we had with it.
we are different kind of posters and rarely post on the same subjects,but we seemed very in tune with each other.
the meal was finished (i apologise for not eating it all,but I did explain about my eating habits) and more chat followed before we returned to his local Bar.
after closing time (we were asked nicely to leave by the manager,such a nice person and Liftoff knows what I mean).
i got my train home and had one change.
then things got interesting,i sat there minding my own business and just reading the paper.
a whole load of people got on the train and had obviously had been out for the night and had had a few Beers.
one Guy was totally off his head and insisted on taking his clothes off in front of everyone.
his friends tried to stop him,but soon he waving his dick in the face of a Girl who was on her own and sitting there quietly on her own.
as you can imagine she was not impressed and when the idiot decided to run through other carriages naked I went and sat with her and offered to be the Gallant Knight.
i suggested (if she was agreeable) that I sat there with her and hopefully she might be left alone if it looked like she had a 'partner'.
she said she had no problem with dealing with "the wanker (her words),but thanked me and accepted my offer.
the Guy and his friends re-appeared and were a real pain again and I almost got violent.
he had obviously been punched in the face,blood was all his face and I had to smile,he deserved it in my eyes.
i was not impressed with him thrusting his dick in my face and shouting "have it,you know you want it"
excuse me,i didnt want it and if he hadn't been with many friends I would have been very tempted to deck the c_nt.
then he decides he want to get off the train,trying to open the door while the train is going at 70MPH and his friends are again pulling him back.
"this is my stop,i have to get off"he was shouting and I was thinking just let the f_cker jump off and kill himself.
i would have nad no remorse about him if he had jumped.
but sadly his friends managed to persuade him to behave and finally they got off,what a f_cking relief.
the Girl I sat with got off as well and thanked me for my intervention.
but as I sat there I was approached by another Girl who was around my age.
she asked if I had a light for her cigarette and I gave her my lighter and she eventually sat with me and asked if it was OK?
fine by me and we chatted and then something she said gave me a VERY BIG surprise.
she suddenly said she was glad to be able to talk to someone as she needed to talk because she had just had a miscarriage.......
f_ck me,i had had an expreience of this in the last few days and let her talk.
i heard her point of view and then I told her of my story and we both told each other that things would get better and we wished each other better luck in the future.
i have rambled and posted a load of sh_t but the important thing I wanted to say?
if any Members are in the vinicinity of where Liftoff lives,then get together with him.
he is a good person to meet and an interesting drinking partner.
have a good Christmas Liftoff and look after the person we both know.......

Nokna, that train journey sounds like one from hell,
I'm afraid my temper would have made things even more unpleasant if I had been there too....
hope things are better for both of us in the New Year, and we WILL have a drink when things are less complicated.

i would have probably punched the Guys lights out if you or anyone had been with me (brave talk 18 hours later) but as I was on my own I thought keeping quiet was best thing at the time.
it is the festive time of year and many people go for a few drinks and like to have a good time.
but this Guy was way way over the top and as I said,if he had stepped off the train while it was rushing along at 70 MPH,i would not have grieved for him.
i hope you sort things out and let me know.
but whatever happens the offer of me buying you a Beer still stands....
