Go to Orchard Towers (Ipanema for Thai's, Filipina's in the Rainforest looking one I think called the Green Mango, i'm not a regular at OT so its from my last visit 3 or 4 months back) for a LT pick up, its walking distance. Try the Bar below the Hyatt after midnight (in the basement, its called Brix, historically its been good for FL's). If you want ST go to Geylang Lor (Ave) 3, any Singapore Taxi Driver will know!

Unfortunately, the full moon party has had it's day and CiaoCiao comments are spot on. However the island itself is well worth the visit a real beautiful spot to relax, cheap accommodation and take your TG with you for a good time.
Oz and DG's comments are there own but bringing up comments like:
