While I appluad what you did, I hope you don't get caught up in the cross fire.
If this guy is charged and this is a big IF then what do you think will happen?
Well, one answer is that he will hire a good lawyer. Obviously the lawyer will know who tipped the cops. Then unfortunately, your life will come under unwanted scrutiny.
Why do you travel to Thailand so many times? Where do you stay? Is it only for business? Did you ever hire the services of a prostitute (BG, gogo dancer) ?
While we might be ok with this, remember, these things are looked down upon by "morally superior" western societies. They will assasinate your character, then the defence might even try and link up stuff like, "Well we all know that pedophilia happens in 3rd world countries, who is to say that MR. VJ actually went to Thailand to fulfill his hunger for kids?" It does not have to be proven, all that needs to happen is they strip your personal life infront of the court (to disparage you).
And that is the beginning, it could be a lot worse. I kid you not. I honestly hope this doesn't happen and again, I applaud you for the steps you took, but if it were me, I'd keep a low profile and not have reported. I don't want my life, my job etc. ruined when trying to put some scum behind bars.
I really hope it is only Good Times for you VJ. Peace.

I guess that some of us have the balls to follow through with our convictions and f_ck the consequences. And some do not.

As for the scum VJ uncovered, I am only sorry we did not con him into visiting the Land of Smiles.... I would have no problem with turning him over (after a few hours in my company) to the men in Brown and then see how he likes to be abused... The sick f_ck...
Anyone (in my opinion) who knowingly let's scum like that exist and carry on their vile trade are nothing more than collborators..
You may want to edit some part of your post, CafeDelMar or at least explain yourself when you say..

Cafe, I disagree. I am sure that in this type of case the prosecution will gather enough evidence that they prosecute by themselves a criminal case. It will not be a civil case of V-J against the pedo.
