gee,a thread named after me.
i'm honoured JJ.
my relatives know what i get up to,as do work colleagues and friends in the pub.
many of them want to know all the gory details,some don't.
if they want to hear,i will tell them.
but i also enthuse on all facets of LOS
food/religion/culture etc.
i would imagine some people look at me in a bad light or are really disgusted by my antics,but nothing has been said to my face.
in the last month i have been asked by 3 people at work all about LOS.
going with their other halves,so the bar scene is out.
but i can give them info on all sorts of things and provide many websites about general info.

I expect it would be a little difficult to be reticent about your LOS lifestyle, seeing you have dozens of Thai ladies' names tatooed on your arm! Must be quite a talking point when you're wearing a short-sleeved shirt.

Sometimes it is frustrating because when I return home, as most people do, I want to talk about my vacation.Unfortunately I can only do this with very close friends who I can trust because I can't risk other friends or family finding out.I also don't tell everything to my friends because as said in an earlier post some would just not believe me!Many times I have been talking about what it is like over there and I can see the person thinking 'oh no here he is exaggerating again'.Some things are best untold.
