forgive me if I sound callous, but if you just concentrate on business, bang some TGs and not fall into the female trap of 'feelings and love', you will be OK.... It's about responsibility and respect for other people's property and/or rights.
How would you like if someone painted his ad on your house as graffiti? Or put ad stickers on your door?

Casey ; depends on Bank/ staff, - if your local, try befriending a staff member at the bank concerned, you probably have as much chance as me ! - as to Sniffer, well alot of Thais work part time for me, mostly motor-cycle taxis, often they put up stickers, as far as i'm aware never on peoples private property, just alonside various stickers for Coke/McDonalds/whatever ... if your offended, ... sorry, you must be easily done so, in which case I wonder how you survive in Bangkok ?

Hi TPE -
After reading sniffdog's comments, all I can really say is, who the f&*k cares? I've always enjoyed reading your posts, and as you readily admit you are always available with advice for anybody who is a member of this forum. I think your posts add that extra little bit of local colour for those of us who are a long way away and are pining for the LOS experience.
Personally, I'd like to join you for a drink or ten - perhaps to view the "opera of the street"  , next time I'm there. (March??)

Quick reply!! More frequent returns - would if I could, but I can't! Unfortunately, I'm just an hourly paid working stiff, although a relatively well paid one. Winter is long and cold where I live, and I tend to take my time off in the late winter, when I am heartily sick of freezing my extremities off and am ready for a break. I am planning to return in March, but I just ran into an old friend I hadn't seen for decades whose HK-dwelling bro is getting married to a TG in BKK in February, and I am invited. Should be interesting - the Thai family is apparently quite well to do - somewhat the opposite of the usual story in this forum. Don't have a firm date yet, hope to have one in time to get a decent airfare. All I can say is, the sooner the better!! Will be posting a lot more when the date draws near...
