Dont know what he has written to my previous entry but it is not difficult to guess, considering his mental instability. Some people make westerners look bad and give us all a bad reputation in LOS. Thai's in general don't want you in their country (even more so as you are a sex tourist) and only tolerate you becuase you come to spend money no matter how much you spend!
Personally, I have never paid more than 2000bht LT. I generally pay the going rate. If you pay less, the girls are mostly unhappy and view you as a cheap charlie, if you overpay you get no respect becuase you are viewed as been stupid with money and they will laugh at you behind your back and ask for even more. I think you need to understand the culture here a bit better and not just throw away money at sex workers.
What makes you think sex tourists paying prostitutes 4000bht for one night will bring respect among the wider thai society where the average salary is around 10000bht a month?
At the end of the day, the beauty of it all is that you can pay your 4000bht, BigDUSA 500bht and me somewhere in between and everyone will be happy. Up to you, up to me.

Good points you address except the part about the BG being unhappy with cheap Charley. If this was the case they wouldn't go with me again. When I walk in the bar they come up to me with a big smile, friendly and they want to go with me again. They know the score. I don't pay them a lot of money but I show them a good time.
I don't believe the BG think guys who pay more then me are chumps unless they are over the top with LT price, shopping, gold etc.

I don't agree that the Thais don't want you in their country. Like everyone else in the world, they don't want people they don't like to be in their country. I have met many nice Thais people and did business with them. The same applies to the p4p world. Afterall, it's a business and you can make it a "zero sum" game or a "win-win " game. I think I earned their respect and they did mine. My whole point is while playing in the p4p world, have a good heart. Don't be cheap about everything. Afterall, the p4p game is about luxury, pleasure and leisure. If you are sweating every last penny, then it becomes "work". The $$$ you spend in the BKK p4p scene should be your "spare change". If it becomes laborious and a financial burden for you for a few 1000 bahts here and there, then pick up some other more economical hobby, like.......crossword puzzles or maybe bird watching ??

I understand your point. I think if you always keep in mind and try to create a "win-win", then that will make this crazy world a better place - no less crazy, but better. The Cheap Charlie Squad only feels good when it's a zero sum game in their favor. However, as you know, that kind of equilibrium is only temporary and very precarious. The scale will tip the other way very easily and at any moment. They just do not realize that the karma they created is the karma that will haunt them as well.
