For what its worth,
I say nothing at work as to what I do when I am in LOS.
With my friends, I hide nothing.
Strangely, my 76 year old aunt is the one most interested in stories from LOS, and other Asian countries. On the rare occassions I go home, I sit and talk to her for 3 or 4 hours about it. And when i've finish, I put the battries back in her hearing aid....confession is good for the soul?

Listen, even if all you do do *is* visit the temples, no one will believe you.
Such is the reputation of the country.
Tell them that there are so many temples to visit... And if they smirk, just shrug your shoulders.

why should things be a secret?
i have never cared who knows where I went and what I got up to.
people are not stupid and know what goes on in Thailand and I find people want to know.
not just Men wanting to hear the sordid details but Women who are curious.
had a Female work collegue visit Phuket last Year and she asked wher she could go and see a pussy show,she was curious and it was a treat for her Husband.
i gave her some pointers but things had changed for the worse and only mild ones on view.
