All people have the ability to take a dump. Some choose to do so in private while others will squat in the middle of Sukhumvit road. While the need to take a dump can be overwhelming at times and compel many to consider dropping trou and pinching off a loaf at any time or place, most people will still look for an appropriate venue and relieve themselves accordingly.
Sukhumvit road justs seems much nicer with people choosing private places to dump as opposed to creating an open sewer.

It was news to me that I didn't know. Could come in handy some day.
I already knew about the fridge part. Now if someone will just tell me how to keep the light on in the fridge while I drink my beer I will be set. If I keep the door open the beer gets warm. If I close the door the light goes out and I have to drink in the dark?

Update. Star of Light was serving beer openly all day. Bottled beer in cool cups. Saw quite a few punters who were smart enough to come in there.
GT was DEAD !!! - had a burger there. Walked to Bier Garten. At 5:30 pm they were serving drinks already. Spoke to a few guys who said M2N was opening at 6pm. So Back in business. Sign in Foodland said no alky sales till 11 am - Monday morning. Men outnumbered Women in BG 4 to 1.

And I agree with ringthebells.
It was very very rude of me to dump on someone providing such important information to our little community.
The next time a surprise public holiday hits me unawares and I find myself in such dire need of beer that I can't possibly last the few hours without it, I'll certainly remember his handy hint and pop down to my shop with a pickup truck.
For those in need of more tips to help you get through life, here's another:
