OK so now she is throwing plates & glasses in a restuarant.
Too bad the Thai criminal justice system does not work to the point of her seeing what the inside of a jail cell looks like. (Shoe on the other foot).
So the guy got arrested on allegations of rape. One wonders if she (his former girlfriend) had any evidence to base her claim.
You were right to leave town & stay in a different hotel / part of town upon your return.
She could pay anyone to punch her face a few times & then go to the cops claiming assault.
Ask Hermes who just about lost an arm to his "Physco pal".

I was even taken to the lumphini police jan 4 this year. A lady who been banging my door many nights, and I did not open. We was together 2 month before she left me dec 13. Daytime and im still drunk. Noon and I look in peephole or what its called. See cleaning lady and open door, and then a small swift lady quickly enters from hiding in the hallway where I can not see her. She sees a lady in my room, oops the same lady she beat me up for 3 weeks earlier. Still ONLY a friend, no hanky panky. But she dont know that.
She takes off her shoe, and start to beat me up. Rips my forehead, give me a big black eye. Rip a cut on my left shoulder. I try put my arms around, and just hold her to avoid further bloodshed. She continue hit me on my back, and when I cant take more, cant hold her more I push her hard out of the room. She goes over the hallway, hits the opposite wall and hits her head. Last I see she slowly goes down when I close my door.
20 mins later police knocked on my door. Came in with VERY angry looking faces. However as soon as they saw me, and several wounds that was bleeding they changed attitude. Not that I was bleeding much, but I had several cuts. Her shoe had steelinforced heel. They also saw the lady in my room, and it dont take an Einstein to figure out what happend. Darn does these thailadies get jellous.
They take me down to lumpini station, file a report all done in thai. I dont understand anything, im just sitting bleeding. Still drunk and also now really pissed...... (make eng funny).
Second police however see my predicament, and after just 5 mins he takes me out. He gives me cigarettes and we sit there smoking for 40 mins or so. He dont speak eng, so we just sit. Didnt bother him when I went away around the corner to get me some water. Even the cigarett butt when I wondered where to put it, he just threw on ground  ...
When all was finit, the police just took me from that station into next building to tourist police. Talked in thai for 5 mins, then tourist police looked at me and smiled. Said this will not be a problem. He even gave me a slip for police hospital, where I went to get my wounds documented for eventual further reference.
Later on (2 month) she push me away from her and accidently a window was in the way, which I kind of fell through. She never intended to have me go through this window, just to push me away since I bit her. Just keeping my part of the deal, and make to her exact what she does to me (even thou I have 2 bitemarks, maybe going for the second when she pushed me away). Still, it happend and it was more or less only a question of time. Long story, but not now and here
Point is, that as far as im concerned the police was doing a very good job. And from what I have heard, there is seldom a problem with them nowadays. Only time there might be a problem, is when the person who want to make trouble have connections, but then reason is never an issue. And today, what u should look out for is not false accusations. Its real accusation on false ground. Meaning, someone hide narcotics of any kind in your room, and then report that. Thats a lot more real danger in thailand today than false rape-accusations.
In case of ladies who do threat with police like this, its seldon any danger. A thailady would NOT threat with police like this, she would have you beaten up by some muy thai friend or hired friend. Thats MUCH more a real threat. I would feel a lot more safer in a situation like this when they mention police, than when they dont mention anything at all and just go angry silent.
