One MORON on another board/forum recommended that the newbie tourist when arriving in BKK Airport, to take the BUS (OMG ! ) to Suk'mvit because it's the cheapest way to get there without getting ripped off by the evil taxi drivers at the airport. But he is dead wrong. The cheapest way from BKK Airport to Suk'mvit is to WALK there !! Now think about this guys, as a newbie, havn't a clue where or even what Suk'mvit look like, really want to carry 2,3 or 4 baggages walking down the BKK Highway to Suk in a 100 deg. weather ? But wait, that is not even the cheapest way because there is toll booth on the Highway if you go that route (what 50 bahts ? I ain't paying that ! ), you need to take the local streets to avoid that. Ok, then, it will take you about 5 days to get to Suk, but you are way ahead of those suckers paying what, 350-500 bahts, for the taxi drivers to get them there in 40 minutes, right !! Time is " NOT" of the essence ! Celebrations !!
What's this got to do with the BG's ? Same principle applies. LY thinks he is the smarter guy ( although obviously he calculates his pleasure by $$/Pop, not by $$/quality/pop ) because he does not over pay, ever !! But for the BGs who pulls those hard earned 1,00 bahts notes from his wallet, she is thinking : " You idiot, you could have gone into a shower and play with yourself for nothing !" A pop is a pop is a pop, right ?
What's my point ? If you are not a complete moron, then in 1 or 2 days in BKK or Pattaya or Phuket, you will figure out hwat the going price for everything is. Pussies, BF.s shirts, DVD's, fake watches, taxi fares, hotel rates, bowl of noodles,.....etc, etc. There is the 500 bahts SWs/LB with warts on their face, and then there is 10,000 bahts Orbit dancers who you will be lucky to get for that price. The TBG's really understand free economy, that's why they always tell you, " It's up to you, Stupid " ( ok, I added the "Stupid" part )
