Just got back from LOS. Turned 40 on my trip. A cute, tight, little spinner in Pattaya helped me celebrate my B-Day!
Seaman (only work 6 mos./year) from America.
I am back home now and find myself eating a lot at the local Thai restaurant. It is good but not as good as in LOS!
How do you get over the depression of leaving the LOS?

Like nocbj4me, I celebrated my 40th B-day with my first trip to LOS last October. Loved it so much I went back in March for 2 weeks.
I'm a bellman in a casino/hotel in Las Vegas, never married, no kids. My new goal in life is to retire to Pattaya. Currently saving up. Made enough in tips yesterday for 4 LT's and one ST.

Interesting note about the food in Thai restaurants outside LOS. As soon as I got back to AUS I had a big dinner at my local Thai restaurant and I was quite disappointed by the food. I told the chef/owner (in a nice way) and he said, "you should have told me that you wanted authentic Thai food. The food we served is the westernised version - sweeter and less spicy".
I have yet to go back but I look forward to order the authentic version.
As for the depression after leaving LOS - all you can do is start planning your next trip to take your mind off it.
