I too just returned from 18 glorious days and wicked nights and have begun the process of finalizing my trip for the end of the year. Priding myself on being someone who can recognize the Promised Land when he sees it, the end of the year trip will play out over a delicious six weeks. 135 days is a hell of a place to start a countdown from but what a reward at the other end.
Until then, I calculate the current time in LOS and what what (or who) she's doing now... that's all the many "she's," of course.

Skip and Tyler - you guys have captured the blues and effective way to deal with it. Thank you for sharing.
I know this is an OLD post, but blues don't get old!
For nearly 2 weeks, nothing much got done at work. I avoided the Forum to lessen the pain and tried hard to distract myself.
Did go to a local amp - which made matters worse! Ton of attitude for boat load of money!
I don't remember seeing as to how the MARRIED WITH CHILDREN types deal with the blues. Moving is near impossible. And to make matters worse, how do you come up with excuses for future visits? Specially for guys who don't travel much on a job. But you have to, I guess.
