Headlight Fluid & Muffler Bearings are the two things that most farangs forget to check when driving cars in Thailand. This was told to me by my Thai mechanic. Good thing he caught the muffler bearing problem when he did, I might of caused some serious damage to the flux capacitor if I had driven any longer on bad bearings.
If any of you guys need a good mechanic I would highly recommend this guy. He is pretty good at catching things before they cause big problems.

It's just what I was told by my mechanic. I don't know anything about engines or any mechanical stuff for that matter.
Do you think 20,000 baht was too much to replace the muffler bearings?
Also, he told me to make sure that the spark plugs are on the correct side of the engine. I never would have thought that there are right & left handed spark plugs? Shhheeeesssshhhhh! I am glad I am not a mechanic. Too much to remember.
