I've been at the RT. I‘ve hardly noticed anything of that situation before I read about it here afterwards. Haven’t heard any of the words spoken, have been busy talking with other people.
For what it’s worth: I have - very briefly - met both opponents earlier that night. FM seemed to me like a decent, relaxed and friendly guy on the first sight. With Mister XXXL on the other hand I soon felt that he had ‘looking for trouble’ written on his forehead… he seemed to me like slightly overdosed, on a mission somehow. I guess it was the pure sound (and volume) of his voice that told me that there was something going on with him that night… like when laughter gets too loud and makes you shiver…

I was just so surprised to learn that I had her phone number in my phone all along. I was always wondering who that number belonged to.

Well isn't this cute. Where Dr. Love gets off assuming he is able to judge the 'looks' of a woman selling herself in a parking lot leaves me . Some members have met my out of town choices, so I have nothing to learn from the good Doctor.
I also have conducted myself in a gentlemanly way whenever I have met BTF members or Xers, and I challenge anyone to state differently.
The fact is this XXXL may well have sucked you and Koolbreeze in good, because I think the dude is not what he said he was. Like he does eight rewrites, before, as he claims
his publishers tell him he needs to actually go to BKK to soak up local colour?
Now it just so happens there was another writer at the RT.
He was my guest and certainly was respectful of the invite.
You guest client takes no precedent over my friendship guest, Dr. Love. But I bet you never meet my guest cause he was doing what real writers do...keeping his mouth shut and observing.
He at present is not a BTF member, although did request from BK at the RT a chance to join.
So in keeping with Dr. Love's and Koolbreeze's request for alternate views, the next post from me will include his take on this circus.
