been here since 1993 and neither went back to my home country nor missed it. This is where the action is - and generally safe and cheap. never had a problem with thai people in all these years - only worry is the uncertainty of immigration/labour laws

I first visited Thailand in 1970 - about 32 years ago.I have visited Thailand since then more than 60 times (I think) and have never got bored with Thai culture, Thai food and of course Thai girls. Wish I could relocate to Thailand but I need to land a good job before I can do that. Can BK or any brother out there prepared to give me a decent job ?

First time I came to Asia was in 67. I was stationed in Phu Bia, Vietnam and the next time I came back was in 72 and was stationed in Saigon. Best year of my life. I had more fun, booze, pot and pussy then I could handle. I had a number of friends die in Vietnam and had no desire to return to Asia for 20 some years. Started comming back in the mid nineties to Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia. In 99 came to BKK for a week and had a great time. Only place I knew about was Annies and located near some hotel named the Rajah Hotel. I've made nine trips since and plan on comming back at least twice a year. I went back to Vietnam last year. It was a sad trip. I got to thinking about my buddies, all of them were single in there early twenties. They never had the chance to grow old.

No regrets, I knew it would be a sad trip. I wanted to go by myself and deal with the ghosts from my past. I endd up taking a 14 night cruise from Hong Kong to BKK then on to S'pore. I brought two liters of JW Black and quietly got smashed every night. I hired a car in Danang and made my way to Phu Bia where all my buddies died in 68. I felt like the guy in Private Ryan at the cemetery, much sadness and tears. Made my way down to Nha Trang where I caught the clap in 67 and on this trip got a nice massage & bbbj for $10USD. Saigon looked almost the same as it did in 72-73. All the people I talked to hated the commies but they were stuck with them. I plan on another trip fairly soon maybe two or three weeks driving around the country.
