i'm with JH here... the butterfly straight on the background without the yellow looks better... it makes it easier to change t-shirt colors as well..

RTB, you had a great idea in the first place and I think you should stick to it.
Black is the perfect base to work from. After all the forum is mostly about after dark. Secondly the forum is hosted by a guy who calls himself Dark Night. 2 compelling reasons to stick with black.

or

just finding out if she can do it with my material, otherwise somebody has to do a quick adobe for me.

Black is probably the way to go. It hides a multitude of sins.
The prolem with the big butterfly, done as an applique, is that it won't scale well to the size of the shirt. It will look big on a Medium, but small on an XL. I'm guessing you want to make one logo for use on the whole run of sizes.
Also, an applique will only hold up for a certain number of washings before it begins to crack and peel.
My suggestion would be to do these things:
-Upscale to a black polo shirt, preferably one with a pocket.
-Put a small graphic on the left breast. Maybe just the BANGKOK Tonight skyline logo.
-Put the site URL in small lettering on one sleeve. Stitched in white or yellow.
-Get the graphics into either embroidered patches or that rubberized stuff. Lasts longer but I don't know if they can do a color transition like in the work BANGKOK.
BTW, has anyone seen the nanaplaza.com shirts yet? The started distro a while back, but I haven't run across anyone wearing one. How they looking?

Much easier to hide in those dark cornors in the Go Go's when Buterflying!

i think this will get too expensive... just a t-shirt/polo with print on the front and/or back will be ok...
