BigD, I see you selectively ignore posts and puhleez, learn to read will ya. How is what you quoted seen as a "real" threat? Please, get some schooling or something. Where is the "intent" in my post? I missed your last post. You should know that no matter what, I would never ever intentionally put someone in trouble even if I didn't like them (in your case, I centainly don't dislike you.) Arguments are just that, arguments. A little verbal jousting can be fun.
I know that you know that I don't mean any of the personal attacks. It's just in jest. As I am a wierd French joker.

I was on my way to Thailand with my family for a vacation an didn't see your post. As a fat bastard and since I'm an adult, personal attacks directed thoward me are fine. Not cool to go after my family. On the internet one doesn't know if a person is serious or not.

Itīs important to address this issue - for once a bit serious. All know that flaming and a bit of "bomb-throwing" is part of the game here at the forum and I suppose everyone takes it as it is supposed: with a kind kick in the butt and a laugh. I have too had times with the above but I am also sure that I would have no prob at all to meet just anyone I debated with over a brew at the RT.
HOWEVER - and that in capital letters: NEVER is it ok to be threatening for real or post or mail violent threats. That should be totally banned and anyone doing so I believe should be expelled for life.....
This forum is for FUN guys - and sometimes it is even fun to throw artificial grenades at each other - but I can honestly say that I would stand up for ANY bro here if he was threatened or hurt for real -- including Local Joke! Be harsh - not brutal! The pen is a serious sword - donīt use it to hurt your brother! (just tickle and annoy him a bit!)

Sticks and stones will break my bones but calling me names will never hurt me.
Some guys get off on personal attacks and as an adult it doesn't bother me and I roll with it.
One guy thought it would be cool to post a message where he would go after me and use my family as a means to get to me. To me the whole issue seemed childish but if the person was serious and managed to harm my happy family life.
I would track him down and I would hire a pack of lawyers to go after him in court.
