In some forums when you edit a post a little note appears below the post saying who made the edit (poster's name or moderator) and at what time and date the last edit was made. That way, the poster can't hide that he edited his post. It's easy to compare the date and time of the edit against any other particular response. It's easy to identify who constantly edits their posts.
