I am entirely your view - ONCE AGAIN you provide clarity to the debate.
May I for your benefit add some points I think you wholeheartedly agree to:
Ban any post which does not pay tribute to the Lunatic Fringe.
To ensure that posts in general have sufficient refference to grunts a limitation of number of vowels in a postings should also be considered.
That may actually lead to postings from now on being made in langugaes like chinese, japanese and Thai rather than english, as these languages along with serbo-croatic contains relatively far mor consonants in ratio to vowels, than latin based languages.
An introdutory course to the forum rules of conduct with subsequent lingustic test and certification will then be issued before password is allocated. Cetrain tallents will pass the test without training, like Krypto and DG.
A thread about new bargirls in FLB bar would go something like this:
Krypto: Grunt, grunt
DG: BK? PTA? (GRunt)
Krypto: FCKK FF brnlss bstrd
DG: Uh (does not count - its a personal Grunt not included in the post) :
Nderstd - PTA
Kryptoty ( Reluctantly) : Grunt

So you see, in our area of interest it is fully possible to have an INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION with very limited vocabulary.
Hence, with a few, simple rules BK can actually restrict the communication to the sensible minimum where we could switch members postings to SMS....

You (and others) have got to be kidding.
So in a normal conversation you would not be able to make
10 individual comments of between 10 to 20 words?
In a 24 hour period!
Or write 100 to 200 words A DAY in 10 to 20 word bites!
Or that nothing interests you on the BTF enough to engage with others over a series of comments that might amount to 10 engaging responses?

The very small number of regular posters on this forum are supporting the reading needs of several thousand members who post squat.
Now some guys proudly are stating that "Hey BK I have nothing to say so I want other guys not to be able to say anything either." What bullsh_t.
Some guys write, others read, that's the way of life, but supporting restricting the writers is in my opinion sheer lunacy.
Especially on a forum filled with voyeurs, which is
basically how this forum runs. Some guys, a few, write about sex
and a whole pile of guys read it, with out posting anything.
It is the guys who post who supply this forum with the post and comments you say you do not need to make, or cannot make due to imagination, experience, writing ability or willingness to contribute.
For the guys who self-servingly say 10 is way too many for them and others should not need to post anywhere near 10, should take a look at their own post totals and wonder why there isn't more 'action' on this forum.
Because the guys who post frequently are the life blood of this forum, ALWAYS have been ALWAYS will be.

No, this forum is not a democracy as so tritely espoused by the coy,
but neither is it a totalitarian dictatorship of the mute masses.

I agree with FM and OZ, sometimes ya gotta shoot the sh_t with someone and it might take more than several posts. Then, that would leave me with only 2 or 3 posts available for my serious side to come out.
I think, that as a personal person ?? that has hit the limit now 3 times, yes 3 times, but I have an excuse, that we should have a floating quota. I dont know, is it possible for one person to have 15 posts limit and another 10 ?? If so, lets do it that way, after all another 5 is not that much. Someone who has never abused the situation and contibutes a lot, should get the 15, lets say people like Oz, Smegma, etc. But others like Jokal, Tugger, UKtawat and Klaptout, they should either stay at 10, or even be reduced to 5 and with good behaviour they can be raised to 10.
We could have a voting system at the end of the month, kinda like a parole hearing, not that I would know what a parole hearing was like. But they could ask to be bumped up to the 10 again and we vote if they have been good or bad and if they should be released or still kept under surveilance.
