Additionally, let's list some criteria for choosing the place. Do we need girls that we can barfine? Ambience? Will we spend the whole night there? etc.

hi Mr Joe,
the RT is a monthly gathering for all bros here to meet up and exchange info or experiences, usually at a suggested venue, usually a watering hole! after a couple of drinks, the adventures will start, that is bar hopping and hunting.
well, BK will suggest a certain date for the monthly RT, usually the 2nd or 3rd friday of the month, depending on attendance and the presence of others members in Bkk. this months RT on the 16th which was set after much decision by BK, will see more bros attending, including myself! 
i attended last months' RT had great fun with BK and pinga, not to mention the Tgs that we met!

I have a friend who has a place on Asoke . Its 5 stories and on the bottom two is his restaraunt and bar . The third and forth floor are 5 or 6 private rooms on each floor and a bathroom and shower . The 5th is a large area set up like a boardroom/dining area in japanese style with a bar . There is also a rooftop area with yet another bar . At present hes just using the bottom 2 floors and the roof . I had many great ideals for the third and forth floor such as specialty rooms or crazy ass shit like naked jello wrestling in one , Bondage in another and Fetish etc......... you get the picture . The place is vacant at the moment and he doesnt have any immediate plans that I am aware of . I thought that it would make a great place for a place to party . I just stumbled across this thread and thought I would toss the ideal in the air . Myself and the owner were on very good terms before I left but I did miss a rugby game I was supposed to see with him , so who knows now . Im american I dont understand rugby or its moral importance to those who do . Its just a suggestion .......

Hello to all the brothers. Cmore here, new to the forum but not to Bangkok. My first trip to Thailand ever was back in May from the 19th through the 26th and to refer to me as a newbie would be a major understatement. Even after months of reading up on Bangkok and all the things to do and not to do I still made some of the classic newbie mistakes including (And let's try to keep the laughter down to a minimum here guys) paying 600 baht for the cab ride from the airport to the Nana hotel where I decided to stay. After a very long plane ride from America and arriving in Bangkok late Sunday night all I wanted to do was sleep after I checked in so my first official night wasn't until Monday night. Come Monday night around nine I was ready for action. I had already decided before I came that I would not allow myself to become emotionally attached to any of the ladies I met. Love um and leave um was the motto for the week. A different lady each day for 6 days and because I was leaving very early Sunday morning and therefore would be robbed of an extra lady I decided that the only fair thing to do would be to take 2 ladies Saturday night. What's fair is fair right? Anyway, Monday night I'm on the prowl. I start walking up Sukhumvit road from Nana toward Soi 33 because even though my hotel is right across the street from NEP I decided I wanted to spend my first night on the prowl at Cowboy instead (If you're asking why I couldn't even begin to tell you. Must have been the heat). So I'm walking up Sukhumvit toward where I think Cowboy is suppose to be only I left the map I printed up of Sukhumvit with all the bar locations on it back in my hotel room. Needless to say I didn't remember that Cowboy ran parallel to Sukhumvit instead of crossing it so I eventually gave up the search and headed back toward Nana because on the way I did pass right by Clinton Plaza so I decided to go there instead. Once I made it back to Clinton Plaza the plan was to go to the Dollhouse to begin day 1 but after all that walking I decided to have a drink first at the beer bar there called Checkpoint Charlie. Soon as I sat down I was surrounded by beauty. It's true that Thai ladies are some of the most beautiful women on the planet. Three of the hostesses working at Checkpoint joined me and we chatted and I got hit with all the usual questions. Where you from and so forth. Now comes the part of the story where I expect all the brothers reading this to groan very loudly because what happens next will require a brand new category in the This Guy is a Newbie handbook. While I'm sitting there sipping my drink and talking to the ladies waiting for my chance to make up an excuse to leave and go over to Dollhouse to start my prowl another hostess at Checkpoint sees me and starts to walk over to join us (Anyone sipping a drink right now may want to put it down for fear of spraying your computer). I took one look at this gorgeous creature and my prowling days were officially over. Long story short (If this is only a short story, I would hate to be around this guy when he really gets going) we spent the entire week together, we are still a couple to this day, and I already have my ticket for my return visit the last week in September. So what's the new category in the Newbie handbook. This guys girlfriend is the first lady he went out with from the first bar he went into on the first night he was in Bangkok. Now I know that this particular discussion is suppose to concern the RT for New Years Eve this year and yes I am finally getting around to that subject so put down the baseball bats and the voodoo dolls. According to the information I've gathered from my girlfriend and some of the other ladies who work at Checkpoint Charlie the bar was suppose to close for good on July 31 but they received a last minute stay of execution and the new closing date has supposedly been pushed back to the end of the year. Imagine what kind of party that could lead to. Two parties in one. A New Years Eve party and a Last Call party at the same time. The year and the bar both closing on the same day. Could have possibilities. Anyway that's my suggestion for the New Years Eve RT (I know, I know. Why couldn't he just say that in the first place). Have fun in LOS brothers and let me know if there's a chance of holding the September RT during the week of the 23rd. I may be off the market but I can still be the designated make sure everyone makes it home safe guy. Peace

2 things - firstly Cowboy does "cross" Sukhumvit
Secondly - good for you mate - no problem doing it that way. Each to their own I say. Those who want to play should be allowed to do so, but I alsways spend time with the same girl when I go to BKK (one or 2 dalliances inbetween) and I get a bit p****d when people say don't do this. I go about 4 times a year and I have great fun with the girls (unlike may TGs mine doesn't mind me having fun in the bars so long as I go back with her - not only that but I have great fun in LOS without screwing around.
As I say - each to their own - I don't blame the majority for enjoying as many as poss' but they should recognise that there are thosae of us who are just not really into that (anymore  )

Bye the way, I'll be in Bkk New year and would love to meet some of you guys - but the "missus" will be "in-tow" so I wouldn't want to spoil your fun. Maybe a lunchtime beer - 26th December to 6th Jan'???
