Well, I agree with you there - I would have figured that common courtesy would have at least gotten that thread to deserve a note or acknowledgement.

I think arramsey is quite knowledgeable in the English language, so I doubt it was just a misinterpretation, more like a telling personal statement - seems Arramsey appears to not support BTF either.
Personally, I see it pretty cut and dry -- pretty much a lot of criminal activity of the cowardly type is often attributed and executed by LBs (see: Pattaya FRs, as well as plenty of BKK references), so it would stand to reason that the kind of person attracted to those kind of shifty characters, would share many of the same personality traits.
I think the reception of your thread in the LB section pretty much goes some ways to illustrate, if not support, that point. Case closed.

Your Forum name ( demo ) also does NOT appear in the donors list - which means that your post above applies to you more than anyone else.
BTW - don't be naive. Just because someone's name does not appear on the donors list that does not mean that he/she does not support BTF. They possibly are much greater supporters of BTF than you - BUT they do not go Tom-Tomming it all over the place !!!

You clearly are of the view that if you throw enough mud around, some of it will stick. 
Its quite clear by anybody that you and bimmher are in a contest to see who can write the biggest suck-up for BTF. Both of you continually refer to the "list" and who is or isn't on it. The more you guys carry on with such utter childish behaviour, the more people are less likely to join the "list" and therefore what you are in fact doing is detrimental to BTF and BK. No one wants to feel pressured or bullied into doing something which is entirely up to them – or is the point of it being a “donation” just a façade now???
I saw this coming a long time ago when the idea of a "list" was suggested and I saw then that it would be used in the very way that you two guys are doing. I guess looking back on it, it was predictable by who...the loudest members on the original thread.
Anyway daffy throw some more mud around if you want. I could reference your behaviour to a certain group in pre-WWII Germany…..but that might be a bit extreme…for the moment.
(Me thinks Daffy is using some form of 'mind control' on bimmher  - as the guy is really quite nice and down to earth in person).

I hate to say it, but Isee has a point on the matter of "the list." Too much talk and too much importance given to being on it, may prompt many to avoid being on it altogether. Now, what am I doing talking about it?

First of all, 'the list' keeps growing, despite the best efforts to depopularize it -- that being said, I have a theory:
- There's those members who NEVER will donate to, or support, BTF in any way shape or form -- they are the freeloaders, who simply want something for nothing. Nothing wrong with that (hey, we ALL want something for nothing, if we had a choice), but I fail to see the continued efforts to malign the donations efforts (also known as 'the list'), ridicule those donating, and even personally attack BK - as woefully little is to be gained by it.
The only reason I can see, is that the donations of other members point a harsh spotlight on those folks who contribute little to nothing, and it appears that the consequential maligning and bitterness are more a function of bruised egos, and lost faces.
Mind you, this above paragraph only applies to those going out of their way to malign, be spiteful, and repeatedly diss on the donations and donators -- those who simply choose to abstain, or do not see the value in BTF, or who simply can't afford to are respected in their decision - after all, they also don't spend any of their time putting down BTF.
- Then, there's those members who see the value in BTF, and want to give something back -- that nature of what they give back can take many different forms, one such is a donation. These members either already donated, or will do so in the future (when they feel the time is right) - and their intentions will not be swayed by a bunch of sad and bitter whiners.
- Folks on the fence about this? I suspect there are woefully few, if not none.
Lastly, regarding your accusations of bimmher's zealousness, I'd have to defend his inquiries, as in both cases I consider them valid:
- With unanimity, the LB contingent has chosen to not donate -- their right, by all means - but I feel bimmher's original wonderings, and his subequent query, were entirely reasonable. I also feel that the LB contingent rewarding his query by utterly ignoring it, is just as reasonable, and makes sense under my related hypothesis.
- So, he feels it is worth noting a member that has donated a generous amount, and wonders about it (aloud). Why not? I would never have known about Ziplari otherwise, and I feel he/she is worth praising for their demonstration of support. Yay, ziplari!

I believe the exception both of us took to your statement, was that the disdain you quoted was somewhat deserved - hence, if anything, you became abusive first with that statement.
